What is going on with the 718 market?

2018 718 GTS in my garage. I had a chance to put about 50 miles on it today. The car is a blast and I’m super happy with it.

When we built our home I had the garage ceiling set at the appropriate height for a lift...... it is the best tool I own and I own some tools. It is simply a life saver when working and they are not that expensive...I think 2500 delivered and assembled awhile ago. I thought I was going to assemble it myself...uh, each ramp is 600 lbs. If you get one pay to have it put together.
I suspect doing anything on the Cayman will be a 'down under' event except for air filters so it will come in handy....

I have 12' ceilings in my garage. A buddy of mine has a similar lift in his pole barn. I know almost nothing about how to work on my cars. But I want that lift.

I wear an airsoft padded hat (padded like a welders cap) and it has saved my noggin on numerous occasions when distracted.....I've found that the lift does not give or move.

Burning Brakes
Since everyone is posting up their recent acquisitions, I guess I can finally post mine after signing the papers on it last night. Found this car up in Tewksbury, Massachusettes on Black Friday. 2018 Base PDK with an original 75k MSRP. First In-service date was July of this year, and the car only has 1500 miles on it. Since I was buying sight unseen, had a friend look it over thoroughly and the car is as clean as they come. Was able to snag it for $52,500. Not bad at all for what is nearly a brand new car. Car is scheduled to be loaded up and brought to Texas later this week. I absolutely cannot wait. This is my first Porsche and a dream come true. I couldn't be more excited.
