I only see 3?
The others first had reports?
I remember one having lots of suspension damage, it was white not sure if the one above but it seemed to have been crashing over stuff that may have caused it.

Peter. I think the UV are two different cars. The fifth car I have is Richs 3. 5 cars total but also a reliable report from one of our HK members and another Euro RL member of similar issues there. I'm not even sure this is the same issue - it's hard to get NFL on these issues as none of the owners are on RL...

Every time I see a 991 GT3 burn (after the rod fixes) I am thinking of these parts:
IMHO that's plastic and rubber crap that is way too close to the exhaust, namely the catalytic converters. The proximity to the exhaust means both, first that there is heat stress on these parts, and second that if they burst the spraying oil comes into contact with the exhaust right away. It is lower than the exhaust manifold, but pretty close. And obvious spray can go upwards.
- 9A1 207 273 91 and 9A1 207 274 90. Those are short hoses connecting the pipe to the oil tank inlet.
- The 90 degree bend double pipe from the bottom of the oil tank connecting it to the secondary oil pump.

Does anyone know how things went for OP? I doubt Porsche is letting him disclose (I had to sign a gag agreement when I had my RS repaired under good will a couple years ago).

The question is "Do we let it burn or put the fire out"!

I'm now in the market for a car. I'm test driving a GT4 Clubsport this week and may go that route, or may pick up a used GT3 if I can find a good value. The options aren't apples to apples and come down to money, safety and whether I want to eventually move from DE's to racing and delay my retirement even further.
