All GT350 buyers receive the same owner's package to include complimentary racing school.

What were those Toyo Tire 305 specs that fit the GT350 non R ? I want to order that square setup today, Tire Rack will tell you they don't fit just want to confirm....

Track day coming up!

I wouldn't buy them again. Just get the Michelin cup2s. More money, but worth it IMO

Its all back together just needs final prep and cleanup, then off to check alignment. Took a long time to get the GT350 specific parts delivered

I just bought a 2017 GT350 3 weeks ago and now just discovered this thread. I guess I am very late to the Porsche/Ford cross-over party! Here I was thinking how clever I was to find this performance bargain only to discover I am the last to arrive. lol

In short, this car is spectacular. I am using it largely as a daily driver, which means 3-4 days a week as the other cars need their turn in the rotation. The engine and exhaust is probably more entertaining than any other street car I've owned. It makes you want to drop down a couple of gears and stomp on it, just to hear the exhaust and giggle. While the 599 may be faster and luxurious, the GT3 more precise and nimble, and the Spyder more magical around a turn, but none of these cars make me giggle when I drive.

The only thing on par with it sound wise would be my old 355 Challenge. And I think I still may give the edge to the 350, though the sounds are so different I might argue they are each the best in their own class.

Second favorite thing is the gearbox, clutch, and pedals. So easy to heel and toe, gearbox is precise, and the light clutch is perfect for daily commuting. Makes the clutch in the GT3 feel like something you might experience just prior to being water boarded.

Downsides include the sub par steering, high seating position, and overall mass but all cars have a compromise. Bottom line, its no surprise so many Porsche owners have added on to the garage as they scratch the same itch, just in a different way. Despite it's $60K price, I'd still put it in the same league as the very best driver's cars that I've ever experienced. Can't wait to put it on the track .....!!!

I just ordered the Michelin PS Cup 2's 305 all around. It was $322 per tire not bad I thought it was more like $500. I'll have them on the track next weekend.

Welcome to the crossover club!

I completely agree with your assessment. It never ceases to amaze me just how good the GT350 is and its ability to attract buyers from higher end euro sports cars!

I just swapped in the G LOC RT 12 pads purchased from a Rennlister (thanks Michel) - and mounted the PS2 Cup tires this morning 305 square setup. I almost threw myself through the front windshield at the first intersection I had to stop at. Unbelievable. I haven't tested the tire but I can already feel the limitless grip underneath - track day this week!

Jaker MC - welcome to the Flat Plane Crank club (though sounds like you've been in for a while with the Italian stuff) really love hearing your insights and perspective coming from mostly Ferrari/GT3 cars. Very happy you're enjoying the GT350 and I agree with many of your comments. Enjoy!

I have my track wheels and tires but will not track until they fix my oil lines, not safe for me or others until they are fixed. Love the car and want to track as soon as it is fixed.

I would have run my car last weekend at Chuckwalla if fixed, hoping it will be fixed before the next date for Chuckwalla in March, need to give the gt3 a break.

Knowing Ford - we won't see a fix for years and the letter said you can keep driving. Track the car. The 991 GT3 probably has a higher chance of turning into a fireball anyway.

Can not understand why this oil line fix is taking so long.
Was surprised when I called dealer and they were clueless as to timing.

Interesting...I had 7,000 hard track miles on my 2016 GT350 and not one issue.

BTW...I have a set of Hoosier R7's purchased for my car and never used them on the track. They were heat cycled and have 100 street miles on them. Somebody will get a really sweet deal if interested - unfortunately they will not fit my GT350R I have on order.
