Emden to US West Coast @ 2024

Hey @roninshiba , I didn't see anyone reply back to your posting. Regarding your question on how Porsche determines which / how cars get loaded onto ships, it's one of history's great mysteries ( I'm not being facetious ). While I'm sure Porsche must have some algorithm or AI determining slots on the ship, there's no rhyme or reason from what we can tell. One would think it's FIFO method but during my two month stay at Emden, latter built cars got loaded and I ended up missing 3 - 4 boats. Poor @ThrustNormal missed enough ships to count on both hands. The good news for you is that it seems the backlog at Emden has finally gone down so fingers crossed, things are coming back to normal. I definitely do not recall experiencing these many scheduling issues in 2019 when I bought my Cayenne.
Good luck on getting on RCC Compass! I assume the ship should be departing soon and you'll get that Emden departure e-mail soon thereafter.

I was wondering how the cars are scheduled to load on the ships. My C4GTS was in Emden on 4/25, but did not make it onto the Dione Leader. Several others noted that their cars were loaded and had arrived at Emden after mine. Clearly not prioritized by arrival date at Emden. The RCC Compass is currently moored in Emden, so I'm hoping my car is loaded. FWIW, I doubt the TYD dates will be updated until the cars are loaded and in route.

Just curious: so the TYD hack did work? Reason why I'm asking is that a couple of posters in the main waiting room thread in the 992 forum said the hack isn't working anymore. However, I knew it was working a couple of weeks ago.

I totally agree with the statements below! I am daily driving mine as well.
I am interested on how this PPF and ceramic process is done. I was thinking of taking a trip up Friday to OCD (my day off) and just watch for a bit. PM me if you pick up Friday, I would like to see your car again and meet you F2F.
