Yep It's been circling around waiting for clearance by the looks of it. it recently moved to the edge of the porty entry line and seems like it's waiting for go ahead. Fingers crossed as it's behind schedule now by 2 days .....yes I'm tracking it hourly....
Moment I wrote the last post.... she picked up speed, looks like she's coming in now at 9 knots.
Thanks for the kind words. Grew up in San Diego, lived in the Bay Area for most of my life and then moved up to the Seattle area three years ago.
For @freesole, @OpieSF and others in the Seattle area, my wife saw that Forge Pizza in Kirkland has new restaurant interior artwork per their Instagram feed - see below. We might head over there this weekend or next and buy a couple of pizzas just to see if they sell any swag with the artwork. Disclaimer: I haven’t tried Forge’s pizzas so can’t vouch whether they’re good or not.

I'm east side Seattle..if the Pizzas are any good we should do a Car Jam! (That's when I get my ride)
Glovis Week 21 west coast schedule was published yesterday - no major changes. I don’t want to jinx the west coast but it seems Glovis seems to have settled on a monthly schedule finally. NYK added a new ship Daedalus Leader ( cool name, BTW ) to its San Diego bound schedule.
Someone had a Emden departure date of 05/29 and was asking which ship they’ll be on - their best bet is Crystal Ray. Good luck everyone!

That artwork looks cool.
I have Saturday open for German Car Day at Exotics@RTC. Are either of you going? I plan to admit my car in the show.
The Glovis Courage has departed port in San Diego; now bound for Benicia
While the recent week 21 Glovis schedule says ETA to Benicia is 5/26 Marine Traffic reports a Benicia arrival as 5/24 06:00 (EDIT: originally showed 23:30 on 5/24 at time of departure from San Diego). With the holiday weekend, I'll be surprised if cars get sent to dealerships before Tuesday. I'm hoping to pick up the weekend of 6/1-6/2
According to my tyd dates, all stops have been very accurate but live updates are about a day or so behind. Glovis Courage should arrive in Benecia on 5/24 midday.
While I certainly hope Courage comes in sooner rather than later, just a cautionary note: sometimes these ships just mysteriously stop mid-route. Jiuyang stopped twice for a couple of hours between San Diego and Benicia: once off Ventura and another time off Monterey. Whale watching? Fishing off the side of the ship? Taking pictures of the California coast? Or, most likely, the port told them to slow down as part of traffic control. The good news is that Benicia doesn't appear to have many ships already docked and there are two other RoRo's coming in after Courage so it's in Benicia's best interest to get it in quickly.
Here's wishing you'll see Courage pass under the Golden Gate Bridge tomorrow. Good luck and hope your cars make it through customs and port inspection quickly!

My vehicle has been at Emden for 30 days now, and my TYD still says the next step (leaving German port) is happening on 5/8 (i.e., over two weeks ago)... is this normal or should it have updated on the app/website?
