Wow. Great news but strange that it seems a bit premature since the Jiuyang is still in Bremerhaven getting refueled :-) . Glad to hear it appears you have a reserved slot on Jiuyang, at least. I haven't received any e-mail (yet), FYI.
( Let's hope your car didn't get accidentally loaded on an east coast bound ship that did just leave Emden and that's why you got the e-mail notification. Just joking. ;-> )

Just posted in the 992 thread that me and another poster received an email a few minutes ago that our cars have left the port. I doubt if it we are on a ship and it seems like TYD emailed us early. Gives me hope that I will definitely make it on the Jiuyang Blossom tomorrow

Makes me wonder if that could be the case. The SFL conductor left Emden on yesterday and has a stop at the Texas VPC. If SD is backed up enough, maybe they could reroute a few West Coast cars through Texas? I'll wait for the Jiuyang Blossom to depart Emden before bugging my SA again.

I got the same email.
Wondering if it’s just premature?
My port of call is San Diego, then trucked to Vegas. The forecast is arrival 1st week of May.
good luck to all,

The mystery deepens. @kurquhart mentioned Porsche sometimes uses a third carrier, NYK. After your posts about receiving emails already, which got me worried that I didn’t get anything, on a lark, I looked up NYK schedule and I see King Quest RoRo left Emden three hours ago - which coincides with the timing of 3uro’s notification. This also jives with the earlier posting that a large number of cars on Jiuyang are Benicia bound. And of course, San Diego did get added late to Jiuyang’s route. Maybe you’re on King Quest?? Purely conjecture…
I assume your SA’s internal tracking system should have the ship name by now so you may want to check with them. I’ve attached screenshots for you below. Good luck!

Excellent point @Marin Vizsla ....I didn't think about NYK so I looked up the last NYK ship's BOL that departed Emden (Viking Queen) and lo and behold, Porsche had 275 vehicles unloaded in San Diego. I think my SA is out on Thursdays so I'll reach out to him tomorrow to ask and keep you all posted.

My friend's 911 just left port (email came in). We placed the order in November but mine was manufactured in January where he was early February.

@FileTitan I take it you didn't get the e-mail today so you and I are still part of the January builds waiting for Jiuyang?

the SA reached out to someone @ PCNA. dealer is in the heart of SCV and probably sells A LOT of Porsches and therefore I suspect might have some connections. in any event, this is what I was told and I have no reason to doubt it. it aligns with all prior estimates of late April. all the best to you and others in a similar boat (pun intended).

Looks like Blossom has left Bremerhaven and it's on its way to Emden. Woohoo! Should dock in 10.5 hours approximately (3am Pacific on Friday morning).
Then load'em up for the Bay Area and Southwest Region!

...append "...load'em up for the Bay Area AND southwest region!!!" so we don't forget our friends like FileTitan.
It'll be nail biting time until ~Sunday night while we wait for the Big E-mail Reveal.

I just signed up to confirm that todays west coast 'left port' emails are indeed for cars on King Quest. Internal Porsche dates for San Diego is April 19th, although the ship is a week ahead of schedule.
