Just got word from GM car is completed and at Emden already waiting for a ship. Told me expect car early December at worst case. I guess there’s nothing missing on the car.. who knows.
TYD says still in production expected to finish on 10/28. My gt3 was always delayed too update as well.

Here is the last shipping schedule I had, as of a week ago 10/19. My car has been sitting at factory, not even in Emden, since completing production at end of August. Good luck.

Happy to finally see some movement on Taycans leaving Germany. It would appear from the posts, that the GTS/T/TS cars are predominantly the ones heading out and Porsche maximizing revenue and earnings from higher margin cars. Hope all the 4Ss and 4s are not too far behind.
Yes I had a PTS Arena 991.2 TTS Cab. Looks the same but better on the Taycan IMO. Dont love the red wheels (I'd do all black) but congrats on getting it. The TTS Taycan is an absolute monster of a car. Put it in Sport plus and HOLD ON.....

Ha! My initial “test drive” was the usual 2mi cruise through a bit of residential neighborhood followed by merging and dodging rush hour traffic on US101 in the heart of Marin Co. Great ride but no real fun was had.
Prior to deposit my sales guy asked if I wanted to take a sister ship for a test drive. I replied that I had already done that and was sold on the car without having really put her through her paces. He suggested that I do. So I did. Two and half hours solo on sweeping curves and twisty windies through rural West Marin Co between Novato and Point Reyes, up and over Mt Tam.

As if I needed convincing. But it has made the nearly one year wait a bit more bearable!
Thanks all for contributing to this thread. May all of you awaiting your vehicles get them more quickly that I did. I think things are getting better - my timing seems to have been particularly susceptible to many factors that were individually unusual if not unprecedented in the car buyer’s experience!

is TYD working for folks? "service unavailable" for me for the last few days.
My TYD is working. Try to open it up in another browser. My car is still sitting at the port waiting for a ship (11/18)...it missed the 10/29 ship yesterday and there are ships leaving on 11/2 and 11/8 that'll go to Houston so I'm hoping the car will make it onto one of those 2 ships. I'm assuming that since the car made it to the port that it has the 12V battery as it was sitting at the factory from 8/31 until 10/21.
If you've made a change, TYD will throw a `Service Unavailable - Please try again later..' error.
My PGBA says it will sync at some point, it's been two and a half weeks so far.
According to the local dealership, the order to delivery is now one year++.
Nothing like getting a 2022 in 2024.
sounds about right…
- Sep 2021 Trade in and waitlisted for an allocation
- May 2022 allocation assigned Dec build date
- Feb 27 2023 as the current delivery time
but with all the delays on 12v and Burmaster, not keeping our hope up with that given date
looking at a good 17-20 months wait now. We were warned at the beginning that cross Turismo in Turbo and Turbo S allocations are extremely hard to come by under current circumstance tho
