Looking at these wheels for my Spyder, owner claims they are off a Cayman R.
Are these codes correct?
991.362.166.04
991.262.166.04
Thanks
Those look like the "Carrera S" wheels that came on 981s and 991s (hence part number). Definitely not factory Cayman R or 987 Spyder wheels if that's what you're asking. They are also 20", which IMO is not the way to go on a 987 for both aesthetic and performance reasons..

Those part numbers have nothing to do with a 987 Cayman R or 987 Spyder. Those are 981/991 codes and they're for the 20" wheels that do look similar to the Spyder/R design.
Those wheels were officially call the "Carrera S III" wheel and they were used on the 981 Cayman GTS amongst others.
Is that an R? I see an S badge, and it looks like it has storage in the doors, normal handles instead of the RS pulls, and cupholders.
Good eye, my friend. It had me at "Peridot Green" and all my senses fell away. The interior bits are wrong as noted, the wheels and back spoiler are not from an R etc... It looks more like a PTS Cayman S.
Just a pretty car. Done with the mid-engined platform? What are you getting into?
Oh absolutely not. It’s my 64th car. There’s a pattern here. I think the Macan GTS might go next. Then Panamera GTS Sport Tourismo. I’m a sucker for wagons, but would definitely need to shed both to justify the cost. The Macan GTS is a great package, but I need juuuuust a bit bigger. Plus, wagons rule.
