Suspiciously low-priced. Seller is leaving ~$15k on the table.

I’ve been looking for a Spyder for months. With this spec his price is right to sell it. $55k will sell, $65k possibly will sell in months, and $75k the seller is out to lunch and not dealing with reality.

Full disclosure: My car had considerably less miles than the one above, but still…

As mentioned in an earlier post, I’ve been looking for a driver mile 6-speed in white or silver and this one appears to check all the boxes.
Im getting a PPI on the car next week.
it is a Canadian market car where it lived most of its life, so the underside could be an issue if driven in salty areas in winter. The seller also has only had the car for a few months; not clear is this is a flip or change of plans.

Autokennel says they are getting in a white manual Cayman R with 30k miles and PSE. They list it as having sport seats so assume no buckets.

This one just popped up in California: Basalt Black, 6-speed, PSE, xenons, full leather, sport seats. 51k miles; $68k asking price.
RAC has been asking that for a similar 23k-mile version for almost a year, so this price seems sure to drop.

SOLD! That didn't take long... the enthusiast car market has in general softened the last year, but I've been impressed with Cayman R sales. They really have been strong, including the two Guards Red examples to recently sell on BaT. 987 Spyders seem to be a relative deal IMO.
Wow agreed! That was quick. Nice to see these cars appreciated. I also agree that I don’t really understand why the Spyders aren’t closer in price and arguably they deliver a more entertaining experience. But I get it, more made for 2 years and that is what some people care about.
