There's the issue - Miggytosh and I were talking about the silver-wheeled Spyder that sold on C&B being a great deal (you posted a link to it), not the black-wheeled Spyder that sold on BaT and now on Issimi.
Ah, sorry. I got my signals crossed. I see what happened there. I did comment about the two Carrera White Spyders with both having PCCB's. What are the odds? So yes, you are correct, the overrev is about the 6MT sold once on BAT and now on offer with ISSIMI. The one I specifically posted a question on is the one with the PDK and yes whomever bought it at, I think it was about $50k, got a bargain. Question still stands though. Is the current owner of the PDK on RL?

I'm skeptical. The only people I know with the combination of those mods on their car, track their car - especially the GiroDisc. Not that I mind a car being tracked, or even over-revs for that matter... cars that are tracked are cars that are well cared for and kept up with on maintenance, in my experience.
re: Cayman R on BaT:
Why would you add an extra radiator if you’re not tracking? Why add the weight?
What am I missing?
I want to believe the seller except the story doesn’t make an sense.

I would do the radiator and brake ducts whether I tracked my car or not, but that's just because we regularly have 100 days over 100 degrees in central Texas. I'd even install a deep sump, not for avoiding oil starvation, but for oil longevity and reduced temps. That said, I'm an oil snob and the exception... and the type that drives my cars as they should be... on and off the track
Another Carrara White CR. This one probably had some track use (3rd radiator, GT3 brake ducts, Girodisc rotors) and was a driver like it should be... 80,000 miles! This will be a good data point for those of us that like to put the miles on our cars
That's pretty dang good money for an R with 80k miles. The best comparison I found on BAT was an R that had 66k miles, buckets, and manual that sold last year for $57,500.
Yeah that's a great result for seller IMO. I figured it go in the low to mid $50's with that mileage. Bodes well for us drivers

That's a perfect comp. Both are low option cars (no PSE, no Sport Chrono).
Another Carrara White CR on BaT... definitely showing itself as the most popular color with all the recent auctions/listings. They look great in white IMO.
That's Simon Ogden's R ...he's the one that put together the database for North American R models. Beautiful car!
I remember this car from here, it's gorgeous. I like that it's been driven, 47,000 miles, and not just stared at. Yesterday I passed 35,000 in mine, though the first 24,000 were by somebody else.
This one on BAT "should" get top money if the right buyer is out there, but the car market is softer IMO for cars that aren't in the collector stratosphere.
It seems like the used car market is definitely softening as I thought that car would sell for more especially since I'm seeing "regular" spec Spyders and Cayman R's trying to sell for $80k+. If this car didn't sell for much more than $80k, it seems the price for these cars have peeked.

Dunno, $85,575 after premium seems pretty strong for a car with nearly 50k miles. IMHO, it would have likely sold in the 60’s if it weren’t for the PTS.
No one seemed to mention in the auction that this car had a rear wiper option. I do not believe that was a popular option at the time but one I find very cool!
