Picked up the front bumper from being repainted and stated assembling it's before installing it in the car. I deleted the headlamp washer's with factory bumper caps for cars with the option deleted as well. Tomorrow, install it back on the car.

Removed all the crumbling rubber housing from the front ABS harnesses, cut the nylon stress cord due to shrinkage, twisted the wires, then wrapped with self vulcanizing tape (cool product). I didn't remove he harnesses from the car. The condition of the wire housing was much worse in the wheel well.

I drove it! Roads were clear after a freak snowstorm yesterday.

Chased a low fuel pressure problem. Replaced the fuel filter, no change. Replaced the pump with one on the shelf, it was bad. Found another in a box. It's good but uses the threaded hose.

Now need to pull the bracket off the fuel tank and replace the hose and pump.
And get a long ratchet extension.

I refinished a set of twist rims I picked up a few weeks ago. Virtually brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires 42/15 date code. Rims where badly curb rashed by the guy's son. kid did the same to his f360....ouch.

I used plastidip. neat stuff.

Ordered parts from Roger! New Driving/Fog lenses will make my front end look 20 years younger. Also ordered the 6 lens protective kit from Xpel ($69.95).

Drove it for the first time in months probably close to a year.

Pulled the bellypan and cleaned it up and did oil/filter change as the weather was a bit warmer up here in the Northeast. Used Mobil 1 15/50w.

Fired it up and warmed up, no leaks, so covered the GT up again waiting for spring..

Got one of my timing belt covers off just to check things out, since PO did the TB/WP job. Belt looked just like new, although my cam sprockets are getting shiny spots. Definitely will need to recoat or replace them soon. Looks like somebody replaced the oil pump sprocket recently.

Replaced the inner thermostat seal. The old one was in bad shape. All corroded and rubber missing. Getting it out was a ****. Finally got it out using the Dwayne technique of bending it with a screwdriver. New one took some blows with a rubber mallet to get it seated. Didn't see any crud or corrosion in there, apart from the old seal. So that's good at least.

Discovered PO installed a 93c thermostat. WTF? I thought the temp gauge had been reading kinda hot. Ordered the stock 83c one.

Continued to strip front quarters chemically, removed Euro style wing from hatch, going to sell it; added a 5mm layer of foam insulation to passenger side floor area.

Put new pedal pads on the brake and clutch. Also noticed the paint had worn off the arm of the clutch pedal presumably where the bottom of a shoe was hitting it...so I got the Sharpie Magnum marker and fixed that.

Pedal pads...30 bucks for both pedals from 928 International...makes such a difference down there..
