They are Hi Temp Ceramic PC'ed inside and out, Cam covers and Intake P-Coated also in Gloss Silver Metallic.
Here is one of the Intake, on John's 88 Auto, John came down to Frenzy a few years ago and did the Cooler Cart rodeo
And one of John seeing the Heads go on finally, the machine shop took forever, end results were worth it so was that smile

Used my 89S4 to jumpstart my 2015 Acura RDX. Yup, you heard it right - the 28yo brought the 2yo back to life.

Pulled the trans outta my 89. It's still sitting on the transmission jack, for the night. Gotta teach a Heli Arc class tomorrow, then install the used tranny I got last year. My original is gonna be going to Doc Brown, for a much needed rebuild.
When I'm done I'll be selling the spare automatic. The 89 is year specific. I'll post it when the time comes to let it rescue another shark owner.

Started to remove the DS and PS mirrors to replace the desk pads (PS currently broken), replace missing screws (how do you leave one off in the first place???) to make them stable and replace the springs (thought one might be missing)........only to find I don't have a terminal release tool.
Stymied again by a tool I don't have, but on the bright side - I'll have something new by Saturday

She finally met the younger sibling out in the real world (PCA Porsches and Pancakes, if that still counts as the real world)

Last week was hanging out at Mark's (granprixweiss928) after the NorCal meet up and on his advice I used some of this stuff on all hinges- doors, hood, hatch. Anything pivoting or latching got a shot of it. It transformed the way the doors and latch open... buttery smooth. Now the hatch "pops" open an inch or so when I pull the release, instead of a limp effort where I have to dig my fingers into the crack to open it. Also quieted down all the groans and squeeks and assorted noises inside the car (except me). It's not cheap but man does it work. Those 30 year old hinges were thirsty

Disassembled my steering wheel for leather repairs
The longer I own my car the more I am wanting to return it to stock. The car came with a Momo Millennium wheel which is 350mm. It has a very nice feel and looks ok. That only two drawbacks are, the 11mm smaller diameter hides the volts and oil pressure gauges. The other drawback is less leverage to turn the 18x8" wheels up front. So I have decided to reinstall the stock steering wheel. I completely disassembled it and gave all the parts and leather a good cleaning. The leather is in excellent shape. However, the stitching is broke or missing in some sections and the leather is starting to come apart.
It's off to my local interior wizard on Monday for refurb.

Did exactly the same two years ago, and for the same reasons, however I was able to coax my wife into re-stitching mine with an assortment of appropriate needles and waxed thread.
