For you guys actively searching hard, what trends are you seeing for pricing overall?
Saw a handful of GTS's pop up over the past week and pretty shocked at the prices. $120-130K's

(disclaimer: seriously looking but might still buy a Boxster this winter, or even a 997 turbo or 997 gts)

I see very few el cheapo verts the way I have seen them in spring and into summer. Something made the dealers cocky. While the pictures are never good enough to judge the condition of the car I don't see that the current bottom are more attractive cars than earlier this year with a lower bottom.

We had snow pellets yesterday, so the dealer might be flexible on the price to avoid sitting on it until the spring!

Not "el cheapo", but did you see this one? I live half an hour from the dealer and can at least check it out in person, but not sure about test driving it since I will likely have my son will me.

Having just bought a 991 C4S with X51 PowerKit, I just asked a dealer sales guy (who's been in the business for decades) that very question and he said VERY FEW, probably low single-digit percentages.

It's a great option - glad I didn't pay for it as a new owner, though!
For grins and giggles, I emailed PCNA to see if they had the answer...it will be interesting to see if they respond.

That would be great. I am in the general Boston area, too, but bogged down and not that close to Burlington. Those slackers have no pictures.

Bought gts vert - Thanks to the brotherhood and our fearless leader, stg
Longtime lurker, rare poster. Discovered this beauty of a gts through my obsessive searches.

Signed my paperwork today and hope to have it shipped to me this week. I'm in ny, car in Florida - dealer was a pleasure to deal with and Mike Ludes (salesman)was a gentleman. I've had a deposit on this car for almost a month. They didn't rush me because I was in the midst of transferring my e63 for 6 weeks. Mercedes took 6 weeks to handle the paperwork. Ridiculous. But no more whining, getting my first Porsche very very soon. Paid 111,712. I think more than fair for Me considering I almost bought a new 147 msrp gts vert for 129,999. I'll gladly save almost 20 k for 6,200 miles
Pics to be posted as soon as she arrives.
The knowledge this thread has taught me is amazing. 7 months ago I had a salesman tell me porsches don't really depreciate and they should all be sold at Msrp because of their amazing resale. I guess he doesn't subscribe to this thread...
Thanks again, brothers!
My only problem is im now fully addicted to looking at these listings so who knows who long I will keep my gts. White was not my first choice. But the two tone interior sold me.

^^^^ Sweetness!! Congrats and thanks for sharing.
Glad you finally found "the" car. Great interior with lots of leather and stitching. I've heard good things about Mike, so glad you had a great experience.
Also great to hear that your free education @ HFS Institute for 991.1 Studies was helpful. Nothing better than an informed buyer.
Once you get hooked here, hard to leave even when finding a car. The lurking and anticipation of what's around the corner never ceases. You always get pulled back in.
