Went to visit Joey at his new shop. Big space. Very empty for now!
I helped him do another bleed on my brakes after the abs pump replacement. Had just a bit of air in the passenger rear. Brakes feel perfect now!

His new location:

E-Motion Engineering
1592 Monrovia Ave
Newport Beach, CA

Been working on finalizing the next work i'm doing on the car. call this 'phase 1b'
in my head phase 2 = engine and trans. if there were a phase 3 it would be a 'nice' paint job (which to me is nice enough to enjoy, not too nice to want to sit in garage)

this is basically finishing the cosmetics, aero for the track, safety equipment, lwfw, headers/exhaust, oil cooler, and a bunch of other 'things', and removing a little more weight. i need to weigh car again, but i think about 2750 is achievable.

Yeah, that is about right for a "residential" garage space in Newport Beach... Is it just me or are there a lot of boutique/low volume "special project" shops out there and NOT enough, make an appointment, car in on Monday, out on Friday? Three in Southbay off the top of my head.... Nature of the beast, I guess....

Hahaha yeah thanks. My advice to you: Don't drive an antique, they're addictive :-) But if you do.... Checkout a 964 coupe.

Car is super fun as it sits, last bit of work for now will add: safety equipment, some aero, reduce some weight, make it a bit louder, and generally make it less tolerable for the wife.

Hey Spyerx,

Been watching this thread and have to say, wow! Was wondering why you went with the KWs over Bilsteins or JRZs? Thanks again for letting us share in this journey with you.

P.S. I had the KW Clubsports on my Golf R at one point in time and loved them so not knocking them.
