Unfortunately I didn't bookmark this thread on this but do a search and you'll find it.

Freaking fantastic change. Not more putt-putt-putt pulling away from a stop and much easier to rev match.

Had a few close-to-stalls pulling away at first but quickly adjusted. Wish I would have done it sooner.

Now debating removing the clutch spring assist.

Tried this and almost stalled with the AC on. I've been debating trying again and giving myself a longer period of time to adjust

Here's a starting point:

There are several other threads around. Use google to search for "Porsche 997 remove clutch switch" or clutch delay switch. You'll have to filter out the clutch interlock on start threads.

Cruise control in my 2006 C2S still works. I mention that as you'll see some debate about it.

I'm guessing I'll stall at some point until I'm used to it. Then again, I stalled this car 2-3 times when I first got it and that hasn't happened for years driving many other manuals.

I blame the the clutch helper spring for that.

Attended the PORSCHE CLUB Taiwan event on Wednesday. It was great to go for a drive with about 30 other P-cars! Though I did not continue on with their trip, the overnight location may be one of Taiwan's most scenic spot, Taroko Gorge National Park.

not too sold on the headlamps as of yet... so we shall see.

would rather update/add to the the interior first ... although at this point neither is a priority! (for now)

Dallas custom steering wheels. They wrap the existing wheel. They have cores available so no downtime. Was $500 or so. Depends on options of thumb rests, stripe, thickness.

Its not rocket science! Tutorial online was great. Airbag light is on but thats from my center console. Installed the Function First Shift Right Solution. Didn't know removing the center console would trigger the light.....

Default 3rd radiator and side radiator grills

Installed the grills for side radiators and the third radiator position (I don't have a third rad). Contact me if you are interested in a set. Also have 997.2 side rad protectors (no third radiator grill yet).

Took the car out for an hour of spirit driving this Sunny morning after breaking in the new MPS Cup-2 types.

Oh BOY... I thought I already like the previous MSS a lot, but WOW, what an amazing tyre the Cup-2 is. So glad it went for it!
