What did you do to your 997 today?

Wrapped up my iSimple Tranzit Blu HF (BSA, MBA, PMP, Six Sigma Certified, HD, 3.141592) install last night!
I'm loving the quality of the audio for my purposes (occasionally turned up music, traffic-induced audio books). I was under the impression it auto-turned-on, but it seems like I first need the PCM on and then turn on the Tranzit to take over the FM band? Weird because the phone is already connected, so the unit is at least partially on... Lol...
Next up... Non-sticky (new) PCM ***** and probably some Eibach springs to mate to the PASM!

Went shoe shopping with the wife.
A painful task made bearable by the 997! She consented that we could take the twisty back roads there and back.

Yes I should have stopped and snapped the 20,000 mile photo, but I was on one of the greatest and smoothest roads in Texas, the 130 toll road between Austin and Lockhart, with rarely if ever, any speed enforcement in place. Speed limit is 85 and there was not anyone in front me. Of course of the several snaps that I took only two were good enough to keep.

No. Just plain no. I do not, under any circumstances, shop with my wife. Even if someone told me I could do 50 laps on the Nurburgring on the way to the shopping destination I would still say no. Just too painful.

On a related note, my steering feels considerably heavier and dare I say more precise? Either way I am very happy with the final result as I've long considered this wheel to be one of the nicest OEM wheels from any manufacturer (perfect balance of retro and modern).

I put my car in nuetral and pushed it 5' forward in the garage to keep the tires from flat spotting. I have stainless steel wool shoved in the exhaust tips. It's on the battery tender. After the pic I completely surrounded the car with rat sized glue traps.
So goes winter storage in the mountains of PA. My road has so many cinders on it that it looks like a gravel road. the DOT sprays the roads white with liquid salt every time snow is forecasted. And the potholes are massive.
My friend took his BMW out for a run and hit a pothole on the highway. M6 forged wheel destroyed, pilot sport trashed, suspension bent, towtruck ride, etc. I'll keep the 911 in the garage until April.
