I wonder if Porsche dealers have gone too far?

My 2011 X5 was in the shop for 129 days in 2016, and still under warranty. After an oil cooler repair that lead to engine failure and engine replacement, no loaner and a 59 day stay. I commented to the service manager that my car with almost 2 months of open doors, was rinsed and sandy and not clean. I politely suggested that they could have at least detailed it before it was returned? He said to me "right now, I just want to punch you in the face". I was prepared to fall down like a FIFA soccer player.
I too got a satisfaction survey from the dealership and BMW Canada. Did I give everyone five stars? No. Did anyone call me to check on my story? No. Hey I'm not looking for restitution or damages? An apology would have been fine. I even sat down with the dealer principal? He was shocked, but there was still no apology. Is service dead? I would say so.
I sent my brother in to bye a new M3. He waited 6 months for the car to arrive. It had 14k in unordered options, over his contracted paperwork. He was told, pay for the options or order another car and wait another 6 months. Like my service issue, he was told "this was a franchise issue".
What have I learned? Know your stuff, know the price, write down what you discuss and agree upon. Have both parties sign or acknowledge what is to be done, time allotment, and payment amount. $56o for a macan oil change? I think is too much. My indy is >2oo bucks and has never threatened me. I spend my money with those who appreciate it and respect my business. Sure poor service happens everywhere, it's how you deal with it, that keeps a customer.
"I don't mind you getting chubby off my business. I just don't like you getting fat."

So, taxes, crime and drug deaths are way up, infrastructure is crumbling, economically and environmentally superior plastics and history are banned, and you think a party girl mayor is a good idea? Some people should not be allowed to vote.

A few years ago when I was on the list to get an allocation from a Toronto dealer the sales rep erroneously sent me an email that should have gone to someone else with the same first name as me.
The SR was telling the customer that he was about to get a satisfaction survey and that it was necessary for him to score “excellent” for all categories.
When I finally got my car (from a different dealer) I just ignored the survey as I generally do

Bottom line is hard core conservatives will use any opportunity to get their message out, and this place is not immune. any opportunity that people are reading or watching they will turn it political .. , they cant just live and let live ,, its that simple.. its like the angry child having a tantrum becasue they cant control their emotions. .. they just are angry and want everyone to know

ad hominem attacks are the hallmark of all extremist views, both left and right.
As far as Porsche dealers, if the U.S. fed and the BoC decide to proceed with an emergency rate cuts to incentivize spending then we may see people racing to buy 911’s again so the respite from the dealer games may be brief and they will be Cee U Next Tuesday’s again!

Well, porsche dealers are consistently sending out marketing campaigns... they must be feeling the floorplan squeeze..

He unfortunately can only attempt to troll on any type of political post because he can't contribute anything actually on any type of ownership experience etc. because he doesn't own one.

actually not yet. The $5000 I put last year at Porsche North Toronto to be on waitlist for a 4S is delayed due to no official date on 992.2 4S release. Ones sitting in inventory have option that either me or wife like. So we will wait and monitor the market for now,
