Yes, car had a 915 box which was quite a pain to drive considering it was the oldest car I'd owned. Car was rebuilt completely rebuilt from the ground up, and it had also been converted to EFI... running around 200hp thereabouts IIRC.

Current owner loves it apparently and it has been spotted many times around the east....

I got an Amethyst Metallic '90 964 C2 stick.... was a private sale thanks to a fellow car nut friend (who should be lurking around here and carfreaks as well). Car has been absolutely trouble free so far (been almost 2 months now)...knock on wood!

cool, C2s seem hard to come by - how did you find it?

Hey, any other Porsche owners based in Singapore? We just had a mini meet up this morning... same day as Porsche Club haha, and would welcome more! Non linked to the Singapore Porsche club, but just a group of enthusiasts.... and would love more air cooled cars in the fold.

Do not attend any of the Porsche Club events anymore... just too lazy to re-join though I may do so at some time...

But would be great to catch up with fellow Rennlisters based in Singapore as I figure they are the true P-Car enthusiasts. Some pics from this mornings mini meet up... short breakfast drive only unfortunately although that tends to suit me nowadays given the family commitments prohibit Malaysian drives...

Oh yes, anyone know the history of the refurbished red 912 at Autobahn? Lovely looking car and mighty tempting...

pzull,

sorry missed your call last week. Was hitting the booze all week and needed a rest. When are you back in Singapore? Found yourself a manual yet? Get one of the 993s that keep popping up... there was a midnight blue one for sale a little while back and I don't believe it was Chris Wilson's ex as the interior was black.

What are 993s going for now? Only resource I have right now i sgcarmart....when I get back I'll make my rounds to the usual suspects. Any other online site I can go?

Right now I am thinking project, but dont know if have time and energy. Could be 964 light weight with EFI or 996 with manual transmission transplant and other mods to....well....mod it.

Will explore any alternatives since it doesn't look like there's alot of choice in sg

Welcome -- which car? The green one from Eurospeed?

Had a good look at this car when it was for sale at Autobahn a couple of years back. Looks quite neat and clean, started first time and idled smoothly. Heard it transacted for over S$100k then. It's advertised by Autoincsports too -- maybe Ben might know something.

Autobahn and Autoincsports and Andy are probably the best places to find a car. Anecdotally, I hear that early 993 tips are going for around S$130k and manual widebodies for around S$170k. Bear in mind that this info is from dealers looking to get me to sell at a low price, so the amounts are probably slightly lower than transacted. Not many manual 996s around except for GT3s and hardly any clean 964s or 993s on the market these days. I've decided to keep mine.

It's black with magenta interior. I believe mine's the only other 968 cab running on the road! Actually the car is currently listed on sgcarmart.

Thanks for the compliments! I had intentions to let the 968 go when i got my new ride 2 months ago. But fortunately, I managed to get rid of the A4 instead (couldn't get a decent price initially!!). Now the 968's just listed on the web to garner interest, not exactly keen on selling it. But may consider if the price is right.

By the way, I absolutely adore the 993s, especially the C4S's. But it's so hard to find a decent example for sale!!

Have you seen the silver, black and arena red with whale tail? Think these cars have traded quite recently -- within the last year or so. The other two cars here are my midnight blue one and an arena red with the "correct" ROW C4S teatray, as opposed to the Turbo tail on the other four cars.

Have seen your cab at CarWorks. Nice. Unique colour combo.
