Nice! I think you may have the only slate grey GT3 in town!

Were those shots taken near Dempsey? I have some shots of my GT3 in a very similar location

Yes it's the only one in this colour and yes, shots were taken near Dempsey.

Cool, I have the only one in town with a sunroof

I think we saw you heading north on the North-South late last year, did you see a convoy of 997 GT3s (2 black, 1 white) and a white 997 Turbo heading south at around Pagoh?

Don't think that would have been me. Haven't been on the NS highway for a few months.

roadsleeper, sounds good. Will definitely try to make it. Are you driving up in convoy with the club?

How's everybody been?

My old 911 has been laid off for almost 7 months now but at least someone's warming it up for me every week.

Sansara, that's a gorgeous GT3 you have there!

Does anybody knows when will the PDK be available here? Any feedback so far?

foxfrc5 - Probably not, I may go up earlier in the day because there is a BMW track day in the morning and I hate fighting traffic going up.

NineEleven - Stuttgart has had Mk II 997s with the PDKs available for testing since late last year, and they offically launched the Mk. IIs at around the same time. I've seen at least a handful of Mk IIs running around town in coupe and cabby form.

I haven't tried a PDK equipped car yet as I don't have any intention of giving up driving manual, but from what I've heard, it is about as different a gearbox as iPhones are in comparison to the Motorola Brick, when compared to the Tiptronic...

Thanks man, I haven't been updating on Porsche much lately.

Your description on the gearbox is quite funny.

Anyway, I saw an ultra rare '59 356A last night, took some pics & spoke to the owner here in KL. Porsches are relatively common here but seeing a rare vintage like this on the road makes me happy. Will post a pic when I'm free.

That's awesome, was it a SG or MY plated 356? Pics!

I might go up in the morning too, and tag along to see the morning session. Still not sure if I can get away from work that day, though.

Not sure if I can either, but it's worth a try, ha ha.

What'll you be driving? I'll keep a look out for you.

Will be in my 993 C4S. Chances are looking good that I will be able to confirm my attendance by Wed. :-)
