Have posted photos of my cars in the 993 forum - run a search on "Photos: 993 C4S v 996 C4S".

BTW the yellow 997 Turbo is back on the market -- looks like the sale didn't go through. I'm guessing the buyer needed a loan (asking price was S$480k) and didn't get bank approval. Tempting...

Was in Singapore on Monday-tuesday this week; spotted a number of exotics. Started with a F360 spider, then about five 997 - four of which were carrera S, the other was a stock c2; and all of them were black (seems like the colour to have?). Also spotted was a silver R8. Highlight for me, of course, is a 993 cab, silver with tan roof and split rear grill, spotted on orchard rd past orchard central at about 4pm yesterday. Cheers, Alan

Give Andy Tatlow (Flatsix Engineering) at Sin Ming a call.

Thanks, hackzi

A friend of mine send me this incredible youtube clip on a very easy paintless DIY dent repair: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZwBL...eature=related

I am tempted to try it. Have anyone of you experienced this before

I was just telling a friend from Europe that Porsches are pretty common in Singapore, especially with the newer cars. Most cars tend to be black, grey, silver, with some white or red.

I think that 993 cab is for sale -- check on the Autoincsports website.

Welcome... suggest you join the Porsche Club Singapore. You can get the application form from Stuttgart Auto.

Unfortunately I think most bumper damage will require replacement or putty and paint. I've had door dings taken out by Winston at the paintless dent removal place at Capitol Building carpark. Pretty good workmanship.

Oddly enough, I have not been on this site for years, then was just doing some research and saw I was still subscribed to this thread. And then I see your post from yesterday!

Still driving my 1988 3.2 Carrera after 8 years. Awesome car, but starting to get a little tired around the edges. Might stump up for some restoration soon.

Wifey just bought a 993 tip (blue on blue) a few months ago. Needs a fair amount of work, but we are getting there. The Tip box is terrible though.

See y'all around.

Hey Puf, lovely aircooleds you have there! Obviously an aircooled fan!

'88 3.2 Carrera is amongst the best...a neighbour has a grey one! 993s are lovely but crazy money here in SG...especially at current COE levels. Can't say the same for the Tip box though....ha ha.... Then again, only a handful of clean manual 993s left so can't be choosy can we?!

Thanks

Yeah , the 993s are rather highly priced here, and it doesn't look like changing any time soon. I would love to find a manual one but there are just none on the market. Patience, I guess.
