Doug, I reckon the battery gave out in protest over all that gizmo stuff you techie types hang from the windscreen. Those were the days when we just had a gear stick and steering wheel to play with.

Yeah I was a bit worried about the car wash. She was filthy and there wasn't much in the way of options in central Wellington. I blame John

I think Doug that you have operated said vehicle outside the terms of my kerbside warranty, not least beach driving, car washes, track work, unauthorised windscreen gadgets, gravel roads, bothering the redline, sustained loss of traction, driven it in the rain, parked it outside at night, ventured south of the bombay's and stuff I'm glad I haven't even seen you do to the poor old girl. Heck, you've probably even three wheeled it around some of those corners!
