Manual 996 Turbo with 60k's for $60K.

These have to be the best Porsche big HP bargains at the moment.

Wholesale and scruffy ones must be close to sub $50K now??

Paul. No. The blue with red interior is a HK import and was brought in by Graham on this board...

Gives me the S*its when Porsche Main dealers cant even get the official colour description of the cars they have on their yard accurate in their advertising....but its certainly a great deal given mileage and manual. Rather have a black interior with this combo tho but wouldnt prevent me considering it...

Used my Turbo 3,6 today and 996 TT yesterday. Horses for courses, both were an enjoyable drive, yet the market prices them very differently. An absolute bargain but its supply and demand and few Kiwis have the cash to spend on a 10 year old car.

Now that I have moved to the Waikato, the 993 will probably get more use. Went to Taupo yesterday to help out at the race meet there. Thanks to George, went the Old Taupo Road, which runs from 15 minutes south of Cambridge to Kinleath, what a great road. Have never really liked the Bilstein HDs that were on the car when I bought it, but as I went a little faster and cornered harder, they seemed to get better and better.

Hey Craig, great to hear you've moved to greener pastures and maybe we'll see you at a Waikato/BOP run soon.

The last time I came back from Taupo I got off the main highway (which as you know is a very boring bit of road) and there are certainly some nice roads out there. It was a fine day and traffic was rare, and I had quite a lot of fun... one of the best drives I've had in the Porsche for a while.

That's mainly because half of the dealers dont know the front of the car from the back.

Members only race track in Cromwell - anyone seen this before? Apparently 3 months from completion.

$25K membership, $4K annual sub's fee and a race car located in Queenstown. I shall add this to my "one day" list.

Anyone looking for a cheap 997.1 GT3? http://www.turners.co.nz/Vehicles/Pa...?RefId=1089987

The previous owner's history is... interesting, apparently. There's also an M3 CSL from the same source up for auction in that group.

On another topic, sounds like there's a decent group signed up for the Hampton Downs outing on the 6th... see you all there!
