We'd expect no less from you Macca of course:

That BMW board looks interesting, but the last time I rode a skateboard I ended up in a cast for 7 weeks, and has resulted in permanent pain in my wrist. Going to pickup a surfboard so I can feed to addiction to board sports - water is softer than concrete.

Garage coming together Macca. The shelving is great - I've run the same type in different sizes down either side of my garage (which has resulted in me accumulating a lot of additional unnecessary things). Cheap and effective.

The autocross looks to have been a fun event. Hoping there'll be more interest next time, by the looks of things there will.

My sentiments too Jake. Although I have no fear punting a car around the track if it comes to skateboards or ski's I get all cautious!

Always board and lodgings at hotel Macca for any of the brotherhood heading south...

Ouch!! So you mean you wasted a spectacular accident, without us at least watching?

More seriously though Jake, sorry to hear your wrist remains a problem. On the garage shelving front, I've already accumulated a slew of those unnecessary things but not the shelves (well, beyond some of that Lundia stuff that rolls on rails). What wall shelving are you guys using and where did you get it?

Here is the rack from the other full-up. 2m high by 2m wide and roughly 60cm deep. You can actually join them in a run. I cant remember what the shelves are rated at but I did get the beffier version so maybe 300kg a shelf. 1200kg total. They just slot together (no tools required) and look quite presentable. I bought 3 of them for the storage unit but like Jake says they only encourage you to fill them! IIRC on Trade Me they were around $300 each delivered.

Feel free to grab your park toy of choice and we can all head down to Victoria Skate Park, am sure a reenactment wouldn't be too far away!

Search for "garage shelving" on Trademe. Unsure which of the sellers I bought from but it's all very similar to this: https://trademe.co.nz/1269133008

Yeah Macca - I think that is sufficient door opening space.

Lol, rollerblades would be my park toy pick but I'd have to give you my blood type and resuscitation preferences first. Don't think my physique and concrete are that mutually compatible either Jake, though I'm happy on a snowboard and got as far as starting to compete on skis. Launching out of the downhill gate high on a dawn Coronet Peak with the sun inching over the Crown Range blew me away (still wish every day could start like that), though I placed better in their slalom.

Thanks for the details guys. Will stalk a set or two. Might save me from finally convincing someone that verandahs are made for storing sets of wheels and tyres.

For those who have championed on with the Garage Talk app; I noticed mine was becoming increasingly sluggish when loading pages and opening the Subscribed notification menu in the top right. I've just deleted the app, restarted my phone and then reinstalled, and it's now running as fast as expected. Highly recommend doing this.

That Performante is crazy fast. I don't really understand how it is that much quicker than the 918 but I guess we will find out eventually.
