A nice addition for the pre 964 cars. I suspect it would be a push on a 964.

Cool (sorry), wonder if it is compatible with 993. Only mentions pre '89. Cheers

Only the soft ones.....part of the charm and adversity of owning an old 911.
Next there will be a bolt on electric PS system and an ABS module....and then you have just got yourself a 993! Loved my 993 but Porsche worked hard to smooth the rough edges to cater for a wider set, and then they did the tiptronic thing on a 911....

Good point.

But anything that reduces weight and robs less power from the crank gets my thumbs up. The fact it probably works twice as well as the original design is a bonus too...

Im clearly not hardcore enough. I would struggle to live with a car that doesn't have air conditioning. Call it tropical conditioning. Hard suspension doesn't phase me so much but sweaty armpits arent as appealing :-)

I don't think you'll need air con for much of the Taupo summer. Maybe more need for these from April on.

Heck those look useful John. I could work on the car outside in winter! Need a white one to complete the collection ;-)

Yep, I would love a reliable Air/Con. The 993 (mostly works) & 964 (window works best!).

A/C is pretty much a mandatory requirement for me these days. Although I guess I often wind up driving something without now that I think about it. Also considering purchasing something soon without it too. Although most of those vehicles have "natural AC", no roof

Flying along windows down on open road tarseal just brings back a flood of childhood nostalgia for me. More than a few minutes though on a fast metal (gravel) road under a hot sun with the fan on recirc and windows closed against dust is a different matter. Aircon gets to be pretty essential then.

John - loving that Macca as a gummi bear look mate.

The value outside of Auckland is difficulty to defy. 85m2 4 car+ garage with 18m2 attached office. Arrived four hours ago and garage is already well under way. Will look awesome this time next week with GT4+2 x GT3+RS all 1:1 scale tucked away aye Paul & Leong! Big thanks to Matty B who was an awesome help today...
