Thanks for noticing...the plan is to have the car and driver operating at 100% for the whole weekend at Watkins Glen. Hope to see you there.

That's the plan, have the new engine about 50% complete.

Default Road Atlanta

Besides having transaxle sticking in 3rd after fun race on Friday and borrowed tranaxle from Rodrigo sticking in first on the grid Sunday morning, I still had a great weekend. Mike you are welcome, if you need any more MO-Tips from Tim just ask

See you guys at The Glen!

Where's is Cory's or Mark H's in-car? Would love to see some.

Thanks to all the peachstate region people and the national staff for a great weekend. We had a blast on one of the best tracks in the country. The weather was a huge improvement over the last few years. Hopefully it will help bring more racers next year. This was the first time I drove 2 cars in the sprint races. It was a lot of fun getting to run in 2 groups. (the GT3 cup in group 3 and the ST boxster in group 2) Also had a blast in the enduro co driving with my friend Rick in his 944 turbo. We ran down Mark H for first overall before having to come in to put the window net back up. (came down during the run) Made it back to within 2 seconds at the flag after making the 2nd stop. Huge fun running through traffic trying to catch the over all leader.

We didn't have a camera in the cup car. We just bought the car and didn't have time to get the video equipment installed before the event. The ST boxster doesn't have video in it either. (somthing we should be adding soon) There may be some from Rick's 944 turbo that I co-drove for the enduro. I'll ask him if there is anything to post.

[QUOTE=AlpharettaRK;9411118]Here is my sprint 2 video, also known as the SkankyFrank chase cam. As I mentioned before we had a good long dice. This view might help you a bit Frank. From watching the video Iconcluded I may not be very bright but I am persistent!

Randy, I think you have me mixed up with the other Frank (Hodges?). I was in the Signal Green 911 that doesn't appear your video until the end when my brakes went away. I am probably not the best one to give you pointers, but one thing I learned this weekend that you could benefit from is to turn in later at eight-wait until the end of the left hand curbs.

I was witness to this chase and it was really wicked. That black 944 came around me in Turns 3 and 4 and dove down the esses and through Turn 5 unlike I had ever seen anyone do that weekend (including MH). I didn't know who was driving that car but I had a feeling it was you, Cory. The car (and obviously driver too) looked extremely well hooked up.

I also think Cory destroyed the F class record during that stint as well. It's pretty cool that he didn't mention that...

Randy.....thanks for the video. I did remember passing you through 12 but I thought it was during one of the practices. Hope I didn't mess you up.

You should at least post the one of you "casually" entering the pits at full speed...
