Hi, I joined the site just to PM you (yes I know you have your email address on posts, whatever). I have been trying to many months to find some IF WS2 powder to play with. I don't want it in a carrier oil. From your comments you seem to be involved in this developing technology. The posts about Millers oil seems to point to using IF (Buckyballs) WS2. If that is indeed the case, could you possibly point me to a source of a small amount of IF WS2 powder? I have some thoughts for using it, but it needs to be a dry interface. If you wish to reply you can use this address to do it directly: ronaldh999@hotmail.com.

Thanks, Tim. My brake hoses occupy a lot of space, right where the old A/C stuff was, which is the biggest issue I face. I've got some other ideas, I just don't want to put it in the wheel well where it will be exposed to more things that could break it.

    Hi

The best way/ideas to mount the Transponder are:
as low as possible but protected
nothing between it and the ground
so you can get to it if there is an issue
on 944 in front of the front wheel on driver (left side) where the a/c dryer was
having anything between /in front of it "may" block the signal

talking with Timing tech at first event they can watch your car for signal strength/hit counts .. we have been also able at times to get some cars on track/in pits to verify the transponder is working correctly

I do timing for some PCA races (there are 13 of us) .. but do not repeat this ..
    your results might be different

    hope this helps

    tim
