We'll never know, but I figure Senna would have stayed at Williams for several more years. They had the best car up until the 1998 season. You have to think the championships Hill and Villeneuve won would have gone to Senna had he not died. Would Schumacher still have gone to Ferrari had Senna lived and stayed at Williams? Probably, but once again we will never know.

The rules of course helped create the Willaims car that Prost won in.

Further rules changes, and probably somewhat weak or faulty steering, helped kill Senna in the Williams car. He wanted that car so he could show again that he was better than Prost. If he gone to and been in the Ferrari he is probably still alive today. Maybe anyway.

Although I did not care for Stewert so much when he was in his critic role of Sennas driving, I do respect the safety changes that he helped implement and bring forward.

The Senna crash ushered in the much better cars that they have today. But you have to love Senna. I think his Honda powered McLaren had a whopping 1400 Hp I have heard and about half of the downforce of todays cars with what about 900 Hp today.

One of the great things about Vettel today is that he still has the spark of the younger Senna. Spark and sparkle. By the Williams days I believe Senna looked more at this as his destiny, and more of just a job to have to do. I did not notice it as much then, but in watching the various movies over the years, and the recent Senna movie, I see it more. Of course there is the element of they show what they want you to see, and I know how it turned out.

I wish he (Senna) had had the option (of going to Ferrari- or anywhere else for that matter).

I just saw the movie last week in Toronto. I was genuinely moved by it.
FWIW a friend who is not really into motorsports thought it very well done .

Yes, I've been impressed with Perez!
