You have no interest in the truth or facts of any kind. I am quite fine with the truth, in fact it is the only thing that matters much to me.
Remember the Paul Tracy thread where you claimed that PT had not won anything? What was my response? I posted the facts (race record) to prove you wrong (which you acknowledged), just as I did here before you came after me without the same admission.
Thread link: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...-say-more.html
So, do I have a thing for PT too? No, I just cannot stand people posting BS with no regard to the facts. It demonstrates your bias.
You posted a bunch of BS about DP not being competitive against her peers. This is just plain factually untrue. This is my only point. Never did I once claim that she was not overhyped, etc. I believe she is, but that is not relevant in any way to her record that you refuse to acknowledge.
If you actually knew me you would never make the PC claim as it is absurd.

As far as Danika goes, she is as competitive with her middle of the pack peers as they are to her. She is no champion and never will be. Her insecurity at not being able to beat the men that she so desperately wants to is becoming pretty evident. I have nothing against you or anyone on this forum. I am just not a fan of this un-charming person called Danika.
25:1 if that. Some dude from the Sports Book.
The driver that you are clearly not going to want any part of on Sunday is the suddenly infamous Danica Patrick (Odds to Win the Indy 500: 25 to 1 at SportBet Sportsbook). We know that it’s a “sexy” pick in more ways than one to bet on Patrick, but the truth of the matter is that she just isn’t that great of a driver. A novelty, sure, but when push comes to shove, she doesn’t have the horses behind her, nor does she really have the team to be able to keep up with the rest of the boys in this field. Don’t be shocked if she is once again nowhere to be found in the top of the charts by the time this race is over. By any other name, Patrick wouldn’t even have odds on the board for the Indy 500, as she would likely just be a part of the field.
Should be interesting nevertheless.![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)

Back to Danica for a moment.
I will reiterate what I said earlier in the thread. And add that I think you have probably seen the last of her in Indy cars unless she gets a ride at the 500 every year to sell some seats.
As I said she is cashing checks racing not me.
She can win in Indy cars. It was pointed out that she has won a race. Thanks for that, but it was not what I meant. I meant more that she could win more consistently. More times to win, more times challenging for the wins. Not like AJ Foyt or anything - BTW it is great to see them give him more credit. What a racer, race driver, owner , you name it that AJ was and is.
But I think you have seen the last of her in Indy. Her BRAND that everyone discusses here is losing its shine. So it is off to Nascar for Danica dont you think?
One thing she will soon find is that Nascar fans arent like open wheel fans. And while she will have her fans as she mid packs it over at Nascar, most especially in the Cup Series, she will find that they are different type of fans. So she will try to get all her money up front. Because she will be a lot less popular when she finishes over at Nascar.
And one other thing. Her BRAND (where did all this come from anyway... the LeBron brand, the Danica brand....what a croc ) better hope she does not get beat by the other gal(s) in the race, most especially Silvestro. If Silvestro beats Danica I think Danicas brand is going down fast and her handlers better hustle over to Charlotte and make her best deal quick.
Of course there is always the unexpected. Maybe she wins Sunday and turns it all on its ear and she is famous forever. But I dont think so. So Nascar fans will have even more Danica news next year.
It would be much more enjoyable, at least to me, for a hard scrabble racer to win this Indy 500 than a brand !

Truthfully she is hardly NASCAR material. She's always pissed about some other racer on the track and swapping paint is not going to mellow her the Hell out. Additionally little Danica has all the warmth of a Gila Monster, snapping and drooling... when agitated or angry. Just don't see this girl meshing well with others down there.

Vegas sports book drops Danica from 25:1 > 30:1 for some "unkown" reason. What do they know?

Vegas sports books look at past performance and the amount of money bet on both sides of the line in order to set the odds.
You really don't like Danca; what, does she remind you of your ex-wife or girlfriend?
She has done a great job of managing her brand. I think Go Daddycom is gettng their money's worth.

Oh my, why am I going to wade into this mess . . .
I like the attention and press Danica brings to the sport. Her bulb will only burn so long so she should go to the series that is going to put the most money in her bank account. And why not? If you woke up one morning and someone said "we can quadruple your paycheck if you drive a different car" what would you do?
Look at Andy Lally. TRG has made a stoopid amount of money just showing up at Nascar races vs their considerable record in Rolex. Andy is a phenomenal road/sports car racer but the money is just too good to ignore in Nascar. I read somewhere that after 3 or 4 races, the TRG Nascar team had banked over $600,000 for finishing no higher than 35th. I may have the stats a little off but regardless, that kind of money can't be made elsewhere.
I do really like Di Silvestro. That chick is quietly tough as nails. Big respect.
At least Milka quit showing up.

Go Daddy.com DID squeeze her into some shiny black latex for a commercial or two... so that's OK.
