Good thing nobody asked you
If she was unskilled she obviously wouldn't be out there, God knows she drives better than most
I suppose if I made a crack about teenagers being bad drivers you'd need another diaper change.

Some pretty poor armchair quarterbacking here.
A single file restart from a black flag situation without a tight field. Camera car was in 2nd place in class (and finsihed that way too). What can't be seen is the fourth car all the way to the right. She had a spot and took it. The problem was from the right where she got pinched into the spitfire. As much of a problem was the Production cars tires sticking out past the fender creating what was essentially an open wheel situation.
She's a good racer and pretty quick too. Rented a car for the following race and went from DFL to sixth.

I'm with Joe on this. Tight racing at the front. Difficult situation. Was it poor judgment - maybe. But in reality it is poor judgment to get into a race car at fight for position with other fools showing the poor judgment to be in a race car.
BTW - From the person she rented from:
"She was picked up by the ambulance and before she even got out she was asking if I had another car for a rental for the next day's race. Now that's a racer."

It would have been just fine if people had held their line like you expect in racing. The door was at first closed and then it opened. The Spitfire held a very good straight line on the outside. You lift on the straight in a restart with 18 SRF behind you, you become a problem.
I would have taken it every time in an SRF. Not so in formula cars.
Multiple things happened that made bad happen. Exposed tires on the spitfire, the fourth person wide, the car to her right pinching back to the left. While it wasn't ideal, it was a completely acceptable and expected racing move. You're immediate overreaction by calling her a fool was poor armchair quarterbacking.
