It rained a bit. The track was underwater during the 1st practice. 2nd and 3rd were a bit better. Practice starts were also a bit wet. The practice starts were a bit delayed after the track was closed for 30 minutes or so do to the fact they had to get a crane to remove the corvette that flipped over the tirewall after turn 1 during the DE.

Swimming was good for the fun races. Our (big bore) was cancelled due to lack of interest and maybe lightning.
The track does not have decent water control yet, lots of rivers during the day.
Our 3rd session was pretty dry though, but my worst due to traffic.
Some GTC1 and 2 cars are going really fast. It seems to be a momentum track, as I learned last week in my 1.5 sessions when I could not pass a spec Miata.
PCA drivers are being pretty safe, one corvette not so much.
Tomorrow is looking decent and Sunday even better.

Ditto on Mike's comment's. Overall we lucked out with not a whole lot of rain during the core driving session today. The track did try out relatively quickly despite a lot of standing water at turns 1 and 3 during the 1st round of practices.
Pray for sun tomorrow........

Dan Jacobs comes through again for me. I was gridded for qualifying when Frank Celenza pointed out to me that I was pumping some liquid on the ground. Turned out that I had ruptured a fuel line and was pumping gas all over the grid (yikes).
Dan came through with a fix and saved my weekend. Thanks again Dan.
Looks like I'm starting from the back tomorrow. Sound familiar Gary?

Gary, to further your question. Our NASA race at Summit Point last weekend posted the practice, Q's, and race results 5mins after the sheet was signed in the paddock. Racers could get off the scales and when the got back to their trailer their results were on the web already!!!!!!

Charlie was 1st in the second race (starting on pole). Colin was 1st in the first race, starting and finishing on the pole. Charlie started in 3rd for that race, spun in the first corner on the first green lap and had the entire field pass him (well done to those who avoided him! The video is awesome!). He then got situated correctly and ended in third again, with a double yellow flag out for many of the last few laps. I think he had a blast during that race.
