WOW! This thread is almost as funny as the Ghetto Racer "Open Letter" thread.

Why not go get a rental car, both sign up for a DE and both drive the same car. Fastest lap time wins, plain and simple.

I can't believe I had to come out of retirement to be the first person to call CC what he really is: A coward.

Every conceivable excuse has been taken away from you with the simple statement uttered above.

CC - pick the track, the car (not your rust bucket or Mike's car) plenty of safe cars out there to rent, the day, the group, the timer, the money holder, even the grid girl. Its all up to you.

And yet its one excuse after another. And for you to continue to spout issues like track safety, race safety and car construction of which you know absolutely nothing (except that you have more money than sense) is laughable.

The BS meter is really working overtime on this one. I'm sure you're going to attack my character and not anything that I actually write. This is just another high-brow way for you to avoid the typical excuses without actually answering the simple challenge posed above.

Finally, it is incredibly ironic that you are attacking people's character.

Hey pot, meet the black kettle. Black kettle, meet the pot.

I can't believe I missed this thread. Todd, you're a disgusting, low, coniving lawyer !

How about Jim Russell school at Infineon Raceway in February?

CC, I gotta agree that the challenge seems pretty simple. You get to pick the track, and you drive the same car.

Dave,

I think Chris was calling me personally out. I don't think he was suggesting that Mike and Tim race it off in Infineon, although I could be wrong.

Chris,

How dare you! I may be low, disgusting and coniving, but calling me a lawyer? Them's challenge words. I might just have to take you up on that. Let's talk offline so we don't hijack this trainwreck . . .

Todd is right. I'm just calling him out and suggesting Infineon as the venue of his embarrassment. (Sorry about this good natured distraction from the thread....)

I've never been to Putnam so but I know a few guys who have raced there. Here's the link to the PCA Club Race results from this summer. Note that the the winner did a 1:18 and the second place car did a 1:19.

Why not find someone to supply a radical from CGI Motorsports at Gingerman? This would level the playing field and fall within the track requirement. Plus I could bring my $100 dollars and watch the action.

It's a nice idea, but CC will say it's too dangerous for him.

Oh, hell. Mike, just use these and get this over with:

Exciting news for Houston is that asphalt IS BEING LAID as we speak for the new MSR Houston track. Scheduled to open November 1! And the local CSR is moving his shop to be closer to that facility.

edit: Heck, I guess part of the appeal of MSR Houston is that it didn't exist before this week - as an asphalt racing (oops, 'driving') surface. That's about as virgin a territory as you can get. Neither driver has driven this track!
Hey Robert I can't wait for the new track, are they planning any PCA events out there or strictly private stuff? I may just have to join.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I'm still on page 5 LOL

I'd have to ask the LSR powers-that-be, but seeing as how asphalt is being poured NOW, I'd be shocked if we didn't have at least one DE on the schedule in 2006!

I'm looking forward to posting a very early report on the new track next month. I expect to be down there w. some friends shaking down a new racecar ASAP after opening day.

Cut the equivocating.
Cut the obfuscation.
And most of all, cut the excuses.

Identical cars.

Skip Barber.
(Your family commitment issue has been resolved.)

Or SRF.

You pick the track.

I'll check this thread once a day to see if you
accept.

Mike,
Why do you think CC will accept?
From what I have read, He's just a bully!...and bully's will never ever accept a challenge. You know that!.....and if they do...its full of wannabe excuse's
"my wife won't let me" I have bad tires", My turbos are tired"....my seatbelts are loose"....
Maybe what we need is a new thread titled....."THE TOP TEN REASONS TIM WILL NOT ACCEPT A CHALLENGE'

EDIT!
I just saw Tim's race car......its a video game!
