For a long time F1 fan who still remembers on April 1 1968 while walking to a Monday morning class as a freshman in college the awful news of the previous day (imagine the world with NO internet) I find the archives and icon series on F1 TV well worth the $$. Only issue I have is the video feed is sometimes choppy though the sound is fine... not sure if that's my internet or the app on the phone.

Was also good for testing today as I was having breakfast...

I've never used it, but to me the most interesting part of the F1tv package might be the (claimed) ability to select from onboard camera views and team radios. Anyone tried this?

This may be a little excessive, but I love to have my laptop open with F1TV and have the race on my big TV. I switch back and forth between driver views to see what is going on.

Many times I will use the F1TV commentary as I like their people a little better.

Guess Croftie won't be doing the first few races on Sky so we won't have him to b*tch about for a while... and remember, DTS season 6 starts tomorrow on netflix...

Biggest thing I noticed in testing was the completely different looking bodywork on the red bull from the halo back through the engine cover, which also contains little air inlets on both sides by the base of the halo. If I was computer savvy enough I'd post a picture. I suppose Adrian has come up with another idea no one has thought of.

this shows the 2 inlets by the halo and the 'tubes' that run along the top of the bodywork. no one has anything like this at all.

The word on the street today is that Ferrari did a very impressive race simulation. They may have solved their tire deg issues which was their Achilles heel last season. It might be enough for them to challenge for wins.

The RedBull continues to look great. Solid pace.

Mercedes have found a base setup that works and all the other teams are looking pretty good, especially VCARB.

There is a feeling that McLaren might be the second quickest car behind the RedBull.

Signed up for F1TV to watch testing. What a great app! Love the extra information from the tech session videos etc.
Well worth the cost.
This is without even trying the onboard videos during live races etc.

Testing complete. Those who observed the programs of each team see it as the following: Not too different from how 2023 ended with the exception of the gaps. The graphs don’t allow for variances in teammates. For example, do the times take into account Max va the field or the average difference between Max and Checo vs the field? How about Charles, who can beat Max in qualifying multiple times but Sainz cannot.

After all the hoopla of calling the 'new' AT by VCARB, it is now just referred to as RB? Racing Bulls?

that's what i was hearing also. most have stated/agreed that they will be referred to as 'RB' only. better than VCARB.

Alonso saying the field already knows that the 2024 WDC is Max's to lose.

If so, and you'd think Fred would know WTH he's talking about it's a real shame. We need real competition to keep up the excitement level, and I would have hoped the other top 3 teams would have made real progress.

I know it's too early to be a 'Debby Downer'! lol
