CGT Prices

I'm sure the roads around Austin are much different now. This was a couple yrs ago, I did the COTA track day. the following day we drove around the hill country. Morning drive, lunch at the Oasis at Travis Lake, then back home to Houston. Would love to do more driving events but the COVID-19 issue has made Texas a hazardous area to get together. Hopefully, the vaccine developments continues successfully. Until then a couple pics of my COTA fun days.

This was over yr ago I inquired about the battery replacement, but only in regards to what happens when the vehicle warranty expires. I have not heard of any upgrades to the OEM battery.

Considering the 599 GTO is almost 10 years old, I would say it's holding its own very well. I had a Bianco Fuji with rosso interior back in the days and I sold it with a nice margin.
And contrary to Mclaren value, the GTO value will bounce back in my opinion once Covid is over.

No videos, I'm not good with technologies and I'm just too lazy to mount a GoPro. I didn't take my 918 this time, I took my GT2RS instead. Couldn't quite hang with the Senna (Trofeo R) on track on my standard Cup 2 tires but I sure did have a lot of fun (as my G-Meter will attest).
You need a bigger garage at home. I need a bigger garage at home as well.

You can message me privately for details of the car I was presented with.
Just because you bought a car with fancy paint-scheme, it doesn't mean that particular car has now become the "be all" and depreciation proof. It hasn't. Wake up and and smell the roses, Mclaren Senna value is taking a nose-dive. As for Senna value will drop like crazy "if it's tracked"?? LOL, I find this to be the funniest statement of the century. The entire ethos of the Senna, and the whole point of making the Senna......is for track driving.
How do you feel about the Lamborghini Sian making another run of the Spyder edition? You think the Sian will hold value in the long term?

Allocations were being sold for $400K over msrp
A good number of Sennas for sale are guys going into Senna GTR's.
Someone selling a brand new TDF for $300K over has lost more money on Ferrari expenditures then a person losing $200K on a Senna)

I have a car dealership so licensing would not be a problem but for insurance etc be interested to know if anyone has converted.
Agree Ferrari buy in to get the LE's a lot more than 200k - on FF and 612 msrp vs sale price 450k combined loss most while under of a few thousand miles. 16M Speciale have done better but all together those cars did not warrant the dealer issuing me a tdf slot
Mclaren line is shorter and their cars are faster - Senna much like CGT will take time to get in the right hands pf drivers and collections - don't believe anyone at the end of the day does better or worse it's just a matter of justifying the stroking of a check.

spec.my.senna on instagram is the owner. He should be getting it in the next few weeks. (it'll be getting delivered through the same dealer where you bought your Senna from).

Apologies if this car has been posted already, but assuming whatever their asking price is, is top of the current market ask.
269 miles
PTS (can argue the color I suppose)

Well this particular car seems to have traded quite a few hands in the past two years...

Black GT2RS. Those guys in the 918 and the blue GT2RS, I think it was their first time at the track or something...

I also made money when I sold my P1 allocation back in the days. I wanted to buy both cars, but my wife made that decision for me and told me to choose one. But if we are being honest here, the only cars that Mclaren has kept up in value is the P1 and of course, my dream car, the F1 over the years. You can always flip cars within a few months of the car's introduction (honeymoon phase), but that doesn't mean it will hold up over time. I remember the GT2RS were being flipped at stupid numbers over MSRP when it first came out, these things are trading below MSRP at the moment.
And if we are talking about peak values here, because that's what you are using for your profit on your Senna, Ferrari F12 TDF were being flipped for 800k over at its peak (many well equipped TDF was 550k and flipped for over 1.3-1.4 million at its peak). LaFerrari were flipped for 1.7 million over its original MSRP. Even my friend who flipped his PTS 911R for 480k over MSRP (sold for 700k with a MSRP of 220K).
But if we are looking at long term values, then Ferrari special edition cars has kept its value over the years. 575 Super America, 550 Barchetta, 599 GTO, 599 GTO Aperta, F12 TDF, 458 Speciale Aperta (or even the regular 458 Speciale to a certain degree), Enzo, LaFerrari, F40, F50...
Same goes with Porsche special editions on long term values. 993 GT2, 964RS, 993RS, 997 GT3RS, 997 GT2RS, 997 Speedster, 997 Sport Classics, 997 GT3RS 4.0, 911R, CGT, 918 Spyder....
Mclaren? Just the F1 and P1 so far.
Remember those High Sport editions, Can AM editions on the 12C? 10 of those, 20 of that. But Mclaren definitely didn't do itself any favor when it started down the path of the limited editions within its limited editions. Now you have the standard Senna (limited edition of 500 cars), Senna XPs, Senna GTR, Senna Can AM, and the rumored Senna LM (road legal version of the GTR). What's next?
Going forward, I'm not sure if Ferrari special editions will have the same market appreciation as it did in the past, especially considering Ferrari is turning out special editions after special editions with the new corporate strategy. Does this sound familiar? LOL, I'm sure it does because that's what got Mclaren into trouble in the first place.
