Panamera 4 E-hybrid Owners Thread

Pana TJ, what other tiny problems did you encounter besides the soft-close mechanism on one the doors?
Who did you finance with? I'm thinking 6-7 years but I want rates under/near 3%. 800+ credit score.

-Soft Close door not working on one door.
-Smoking package delivered in front seat but not ordered.
-Rear Hatch operation with the foot swipe. Works every once in a while, but more often not.
The rest of the issues are just me trying to learn how to do things related to the device manager. The whole WIFI/Bluetooth/apple car play/SIM (internal vs. integrated) things. I am not computer illiterate, but I am confused as to what operates what and what should and should not be connected.
I financed through Bank of America. It turns out that when I picked the car up on Sept. 1, they had a Labor Day special and my rates went down from 3.64% to 2.89%
Good luck.

Is the steering wheel adjustment manual or powered? I saw a YouTube video where on a Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive, it was adjusted with a button underneath the steering column.
When I went to the dealer for my Cayenne's service, the Panamera 4 in the showroom had a lever. Why the hell would there be a steering wheel adjustment lever in a 100k+ car? Their stinginess and nickel-and-diming is really starting to bother me a lot...

The Steering wheel in my car is electrically powered. It adjusts automatically to a position for easy exit when I get out of the car and then comes back to the memory position when I get in the car again. Maybe the car in the showroom did not have the easy access option or the memory seat option.

How's the Thermally & Noise Insulated Glass? Is it actual dual paned glass in the rear?

I would call the window glass double pane. However, Not as thick as the two panes I had on an old (1995) Mercedes S Class. I am pleased with the Thermally and Noise Isolating glass. Glad I specified them.

Maybe it's Porsche cheaping out or it's Porsche not wanting to add even more weight, causing them to make their dual-paned version a little thinner than other cars. But as long as you can say it keeps the cabin a bit cooler and reduces noise, especially in E-Power mode, I'm happy I checked that (very expensive) box too.
When you wore Polarized Sun Glasses, was there any rainbow effect from the special film?
As I understood it, it's two windows stuck together with a special film in between. That same film is also applied to the windshield and rear watch window.

Those rates are great from BofA. I'll definitely look into it, thank you so much!
Anything special I have to tell the bank about these rates so they know what I'm talking about?

I don’t think so. We do a lot of business with BofA but I think these are competitive rates (my friend financed a GT3 recently through a local credit union and got 2.49%)
