This comes from the cool kids over on the 992 forum...where they also get to see a photo of their car in production...just saying.

It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're in chrome, do this:

1. Go to the TYD website.
2, Press the F12 key
3. Click on the Network tab
4. In the box to filter the requests type "api.porsche" (with no quotes)
5. Refresh the page
6. You should see a number of requests in the list but you want the one that has the name "USMGXXXXX" where XXXXX is your commission number and the type is xhr (NOT the one that says preflight). Select that one.
7. After selecting that one, click on the response tab. You will see a whole bunch of textual (JSON) details about your car.
8 In those details you will see something like this "ident":"IMO_9283875"
9. In a new browser tab, enter the url "https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9283875". But replace the numbers (only the numbers) with the numbers in your data.

That is the ship you're on. Note that anyone can do this and see more data than what the UI shows. You won't get boat data until your car is on a boat obviously.

Just had an update on the Porsche USA Site (My order Overview), that my car will not shop till 5/12. Delayed a month from yesterday's notice. Wonder what AI they are using to make this program work. No update email from Porsche.

If I followed the instructions correctly...we're on the SFL Composer!

@gofit: So, I entered the tracking instructions you provided and was able to find the info on my vehicle, but as you stated, as nothing shows with regard to the ship as it is not on one yet. This is a Porsche program that tracks vehicle order info I assume?
Thanks for the info. I'll retry at some point when I may be on a ship.

Sorry to hear that you've been delayed a month. Hopefully your time improves. And yes I believe all the info on TYD is generated by Porsche.

awesome! Thanks for doing that 👍. However, when I follow the link, SFL Composer has final destination of Halifax, Canada.

Let me research some more .

Yep...I saw that. And the map on my TYD shows the boat going a different route. So maybe that isn't the boat. Need to do some more digging....

According to our good friends over on the 992 forum...the SFL Composer has 2 stops. Halifax and then on to Houston. So hopefully this is our boat!

I think the TYD app is perfectly coordinating and scheduling events, My Porsche credit card holder gift arrived yesterday in lock step with the app indicating my car would be delayed a month. That's timing!

Be happy to oblige but no car yet. I am sure others who are waiting feel the same.
