Hi, i installed the ISUDAR board on a Panamera 4 with PCM 3.1, everything worked fine but it lasted... an afternoon, maybe 4 hours.

Went for a little drive, parked the car, and hours later when i entered the car the radio was completely black(And in a bootloop listening to it), tried putting again the ribbon cables, same result.

Ended up taking out the board, now the radio works fine again and returning the unit, ill go and purchase another isudar unit.. anyone know the reason of that? Just unlucky faulty board or its somewhat common?

Try other card, Mr12Volt for example.

I would recommend that you reach out to Isudar and ask for a replacement board, I found them to be very helpful. Unless you have had the board a long time before installing why wouldn't you ask them to simply replace what you have. There a number of Isudar users with good working installations.

The replacement board its on its way. Im asking if that is common, because i dont want to do it all again and then having it broken in another afternoon..

Good to hear that the replacement is on the way, as for the board reliability, it in generally quite solid, most issues are with installation of the various cables and specifically the ribbon cables, which deserve careful handling.

Connectors Isudar are very small and very brittle
