OK, so first of all thank you to all: JB911, Rainer, Terry et al who have tried to help me install PIWIS3, not forgetting of course Alex.
Alas all my efforts so far have been unsuccessful.
I've tried to run it from my old MBP to a SSD on USB (2.0 alas) and the thing crawled to the point where after 2 days barely 21% of the image had been transferred/created.
I then tried to use my new M1 MBP with Thunderbolt/USB C to an exFAT SSD but given the M1 can't support an optical drive I couldn't install Win7 whether directly or connected to a Belkin Hub.
I next tried to make a Win7Pro ISO file on my old MBP and copy it over to the new M1, hoping this way to be able at least to run Win7Pro to start Macrium. Thanx to JB911, he forwarded me a link to VMWare and I installed that. I opened that and selected the newly created .ISO file. Alas it didn't like that at all and just bombed.
So I'm dead in the water.
I've asked Alex if there's anyway (for a nominal fee) he could create an SSD for me I could just hang off my old MBP, other than that I'm truly open to suggestions.
TIA for your help!

Once you install VMware, go to settings and compatibility, make you're you're set to hardware version 16
Then processors and memory, set to4 processor cores and as much memory as possible.
You'll have to set up Piwis as a VM, and that I'm not sure how to do, and how Belauto sent you the file. Some in this group can might be able to help you with how to set it up as a VM
Also, you need enough disc space of course. I bought a 2TB internal SSD and my MBP is much faster too-
Best,
JB

No such option under General, Keyboard Display Default Apps or Feedback.
So again thank you and Alex has come to the rescue. For a nominal fee 75 euros ($95.12) he will build me a dual system on an SSD and mail it to me.
For those of us who don't have access to any PCs this might be an option to consider as by the time you either buy new software, hardware etc. you'll be out way more than this.
With this option I will hopefully be able to specify booting from the external SSD on either the old MBP or M1 depending on response time.
Once again thank you to all who have helped, it truly is not the cars but the people!

Does anyone have the PIWIS3 Service Manual in pdf by any chance or know where one can download it?

Thanx Runbuh. I had already found that out the hard way. Also for those on the MAC side, the M1 doesn't support a DVD player even if connected to a Belkion Thunderbolt hub ( I was trying to load Windows under Parallel from a dvd). My old MBP doesn't have a Thunderbolt port so USB is the only solution

Use the VMware Fusion on your old MBP. Not sure how to convert what you have into a VM version of Piwis, but others on the list may be able to help-

Thanx JB911. I currently have Parallels on the old one but with the external SSD Alex is sending, which includes Win8, I"ll just boot off that. I'm assuming that will work. Right?

There are members here that can answer your questions, I haven't heard of anyone running with Parallels. As mentioned, I used an internal 2TB SSD, cost around $100 for the latest very fast Sandisk. They used to cost $600 not long ago. The point is my 2011 MacBook is now very fast, with 16GB of RAM, and it has no issues running a VM version of PIWIS. If you're running from an external drive, you'd need thunderbolt and even then, the computer is slow with the original drive.
In your case, because you have a MCB, it dictates you take this route. If what you received is an internal SSD for a Windows laptop, maybe just buy a cheap one at Bestbuy and forget the MCP. But like I said, the SSD for my mac was just about $100. You will never attain high speed with an external drive, and with a 2TB internal one there's space for any existing files you already had, etc.
So from what I think, you need a VM version of what you paid Belauto, he may be able to send you that, or someone here explain how to make the VM version-

Ok so now I am truly confused.
I explained to Alex what my set up was and that I had no way to, given my lack of PCs, to create an image from the downloaded file.
From my correspondence with him I asked him to send me an SSD with everything on it (KEYGEN, IMPRINT etc.) so that I could run it ready made.
I told him I was running Win7 with Parallels and he said there was no need as he was supplying a (special) version of Win8 in what he was sending. Thus, I presume that I can just boot off that external drive. If that is too slow as an external drive I will try and make an image into an internal SSD and find a used PC and slap that in there as a last resort. Nothing that Alex mentioned said anything about needing VMWare or it not working on Parallels on my MBP. So I'm a wee bit confused as to why I need VMWare vs Parallels.

Thanx DogWood. So why can't I just go to System Preferences, select the start up disk as being the(soon to be arriving) external SSD with Mwin8 and PIWIS3 and reboot? Would that not work?
