I am new to PIWIS3. I want to buy PIWIS3 to work on my new 2021 911 - maintenance and my other 2 2014 and 16 Cayenne and panamera. What vendor should I buy PIWIS3 and ready to use for all porsche?
Forgot to mention I have Durametric for basic maintenance for my older Porsche. Durametric is very basic tool ... i think i need PIWIS3 for future transmission fluid change on my 2014 and 2016.

Are any of these inexpensive units able to clear a 'transmission emergency run' error on a 2010 Boxster? It was generated by bad coils (now replaced) but the error stays and the car won't allow the transmission to engage. I can't get a dealer appointment until October 14th and this is my only car, so sort of desperate. ×
A while back I posted that i'm viewing my VAL and Vehicle Handover files right on PIWIS-
After disconnecting from the car, I opened piwis and entered simulation mode, by going to diagnostics and manually selecting my car:
Then, under control unit selection, overview, at the bottom you see Logs(F10)
Select Logs and choose either Vehicle Analysis Log or Vehicle Handover:
Then you'll see them,
After hitting display(F10) you can read the reports:
Screen shot only shows the overview of the VAL, you have to scroll through an extensive list. I erased VIN in Photoshop before posting-
Here's the Vehicle Handover:
I scanned my friend's 996 and would like to email him the zip file. But which program can be used(Windows and/or Mac) to view it for those who don't have PIWIS? The images above are screen shots from PIWIS, (I opened the Logs to view offline/in simulation mode)

They are definitely able to clear errors, but I am unfamiliar with your exact problem and what might also be required to clear those errors (transmission reset, or something). Can anyone over in the Boxster forum provide guidance?
Keep in mind, a clone PIWIS is not that much more expensive than one of these units. A clone can be the same price if you are good with loading operating systems onto old laptops.
