This car debuted in 2015. It's now on the 2017 model. I don't understand how there are still suckers out there paying over MSRP two years down the line. Baffling.

Seems to be quite a few of the GT350's for sale used, with less than 4K miles. Some of them have been dumped at Porsche dealers. Porsche in Annapolis had one for a long time this summer and I assume it was because somebody came in and wanted a Porsche, and they took it in on trade. I looked into it and it was 5K or so above MSRP for a new one, it was not a R model, and they did not want to deal on it at all. They sat on it for three months or so. I'm guessing they took it to auction.
Cars.com has lots of them. Even they are trying to get above MSRP for them used. Ford has said they will make as many as they can sell. in the DC region the dealers are all adding on the extra premium. Much like the hysteria of the Miatia in 1989 and the S2000 in 1998, and gouging then, this too will pass on the GT350.

Let's not forget - the PT Cruiser once went for well over sticker. There was mass hysteria for it... http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/...-sticker-price
It appears that the GT350 will now be produced for a few more years offering a DCT option.
With continued production and the upcoming new GT500 there is only one way for GT350 prices to go. Down.
I'm betting the new GT500 is a 5.0 TT with weight savings sprinkled throughout that will be the next all around performance bully and very competent on the track.
My bet is that while GT350 prices go down Boss 302LS prices will rise in the next 5 years. We know there are only 1500 Lagunas. They will be classics. Lets see.

Just drive them, who cares what they're worth we'll all be dead at some point anyway.
COTA - got to say this is my dream track - need to make that trip.

Still worth it to me but don't expect a full-day of track sessions... I say focus on learning the lines the first 2 sessions (since no passing allowed anyway) and then go focused & fast on the 3rd (last) session. I wish we had 1 more session especially since I think they could have done the lead/follow format before lunch and then allow 3 after noon sessions (2 of which should be full Solo sessions)

I was lucky to be able to the PCA DE and then do Monday with the GT350. We had a blast driving the full coarse with the GT3, can't wait to go back. The GT350 was very impressive on track with the street tires. looking forward to getting mine out to track soon.
