Anyone notice that if you try and just use clutch with the car in first gear to inch the car forward (garage, car wash, etc), the car automatically adjusts throttle to prevent stalling? Basically you don't seem to have to feather the gas, just use the clutch and she compensated. Neat!
Also, the clutch and gas pedals seem quite light. Anyone notice this and perhaps know of a way to make either a bit heavier?

Clutch is light. People do 1 of 2 things, either remove the clutch spring entirely or install the Steeda replacement spring. I don't mind the easy clutch and it's good for my better 1/2

Yes it's light especially the first miles, I personally didn't mind it some do - I will say at 11,400 miles the clutch feels heavier than it did at purchase.
My car is a tp and I'm having wheels made to the r spec. Just got the front wheels last night and the wheel maker told me the 350r they used the rear wheel was very close to the body with the 315. So still wondering if anyone out there have tried hoosiers and what sizes work best.
This has 305/30 on the fronts and 325/30 on the rears... Continental ExtremeContact DW's. They're mounted on R-spec 6GR wheels. They look good IMO and the rears do not poke out significantly.
BTW I also have R-spec wheels and have 305's and 325's on hand... although I have the grippier ContiForceContacts.
What track wheels do you guys use for the gt350? Not interested in CF wheels. Something light and not crazy expensive. Does anyone run Nittos for track work?

305/19 NT01 should be killer. As for wheels I am going the CCW route fully forged and relatively inexpensive "$3700 in either 19/11 or 11.5 ET 50 square. Will need to run spacers and extended studs on the front for clearance.

BOSSING, for the info. RTF is making two sets of wheels 11 & 11.5 front wheels are done no spacers required. I will put KUMHO 720ACR 295's square and plan for hoosiers on the other set.

That'll be a nice setup of sets you'll have...
My rotary/spun-forged R-specs came out to ~$1700 shipped due to the first group buy earlier this year. No spacers needed plus they're lighter than the stock non-R wheels anyway (which are 19x10.5 and 19x11 and are a little over 31 lbs each). The R-specs come out to approx 24 lbs each 19x11 fronts and 27 lbs each 19x11.5 rears. N4S also provided me a full set of correct black lugs for free.
I am very excited to report I took delivery last night of my Avalanche Gray GT350R. Unfortunately the weather in Chicago was cold (~53 degrees) and raining so I did not get to experience it too much. I drove her about 30 miles last night so I don't have a good sense yet of the cars true capabilities. The car came with 5.2 miles on the odometer.
I am very happy to report as well that I do not have any panel gap issues or paint issues, that I could find. I went through the car pretty thoroughly given what I have been reading on the web regarding the same.
This is my first time driving a Shelby. I have owned other Mustangs in the past but not for many years. The car is loud! In fact, it's louder than my 2016 GT3 with RSS exhaust. I love the raspy nature to it and the burbles. Very bad ***. The seats are great and incredibly comfy. I am very impressed with the Sync 3 system as well. It's more intuitive and better than the GT3 or my 2015 M3, which I thought was very intuitive to use. Sync 3 seems to work better and Apple CarPlay is really cool.
I'll give more of an update once I drive her more and I'll try to make fair comparisons to my GT3 and M3, both of which I love.
Anyways, attached are a few obligatory pics. Unfortunately I don't have good ones yet as I didn't want to take pics of the car in the rain.
WOW - you must be thrilled. Great job on the configuration, the black on avalanche grey is very sharp. The GT350R will be a very exciting ownership experience, enjoy.
