Just like a Lexus, except completely different.
My Feb production car is pretty good panel fit, nothing egregious. Also paint is pretty damn good, looked at my buddys new C7 Grand Sport, Holy Orange Peel I thought I was back in the citrus business.

The GT350 Tremec feels bulletproof - better than my 997S 6 speed which I love.

Specially on a black car you got lucky!
I didn't know that citrus business was code word for slowly selling half of Florida's land..

350r did pretty well in this months c&d lightning lap. beat out bmw m4 gts and cayman gt4 which as great value for the speed. still behind the old z28 time though so can expect it to be beat by next version of the camaro

the z28 and 350r seem so close on paper, wonder what the deciding factor is. is it the monster torque on the z28? is there a track preference for these cars? I know the LL is a dubious exercise but i seem to recall the z28 besting the R several times before.

BTW anyone notice some serious road hunting on uneven surfaces with those giant front tires? Steering in sport mode seems to quiet that down a bit - must be damped a bit more.

I notice it and I have the 295's up front - the GT350R with 305's up front is probably even more extreme.

Oh yeah! With limited seat time I've noticed our roads In Calgary toss you around quite a bit with the Sport Cup2's. Almost feel like Steve and Doug Butabi off Night at the Roxbury smashing my head around.. maybe exagerating a little...

I know it's slower than all our Porsches and these Shelby's but seeing one today in motion pretty much confirmed the R8 needs to be in my garage also.
Love the look of the first gen R8, the 2nd gen - not so much.

Yup agreed - even better as you can get a nice used 6 speed for a good price.

Everyone be sure to tune into IMSA racing - GT350R-C qualified for pole position. Probably another victory coming. IMSA official on Youtube is good about broadcasting the full races.

Bad fitment with todays manufacturing is not acceptable. The fitment on mine is really good, bummer to see one like that.

"Buy one. I love this car!"

Nuff said.

No offense but who gives a rats **** about panel gaps? It's a stealer track beast and I'm looking forward to not worrying about value, resale, track abuse, or how many miles I log. Hopefully mine spends most of its life covered in dust and clag.....
