What's the general consensus today on a fair price for a GT350R?

If you can still find one brand new & unsold or an open allocation....
+40K and above ....the going 'asking' rate by many dealers nationwide
+30K ...from many midwest to west coast dealers all the time from what I have seen/heard
+20-25K ...all day long - the bottom line
+10-15k max ....good-fair deal so be ready if you can swing it
+5k ...don't even hesitate, need lots of good luck but not impossible
MSRP at this point, forget about it ...although a very few have done it, very lucky, a steal!
I saw 2 this past weekend at C&C Palm Beach... both easily over 100K. According to some serious buyers there, they wouldn't go lower than 5k off.

The aero and suspension are easy to upgrade.
Fact is you would be better off buying a fully prepped track car and open trailer for $110K if you are serious about the sport. The R is still a street car and guys don't realize the mayhem that occurs when chit goes bad at 3x's high way speeds with no safety equipment.

Well I think the GT350-R will retain msrp value and even higher.... think of GT3 RS values (both 997 and 991) just a few years later. Similar principle- low #'s and highly desirable.
Obviously this is considering Ford Performance stops GT350 production after MY2017 or maybe even after MY2018 if they decide last minute to extend it to another production year.

So the plan is to spend $110K for an R that will be worth $100K in 30 years?
I spent $46K on my Boss 302 LS Silver and Red #46. That may be worth $100K in 30 years too. I'll be 87. Likely sitting in a rocking chair eating puraied peas. Won't care much about it and likely only worried about whats for dinner and who is changing my depends.

Grandsport is a strong buy.
They do sound good with an exhaust.
