After you pointing this out, I looked at it a bit more and decided that it MUST become a priority as the car will look tons better once the window trim and roof rails are also black.

With that said, I already ordered the black window trim pieces and reached out to my buddy who owns a paint shop to paint the roof rail.

I think it will look great once done.

Thanks again for the suggestion and for pointing this out Wilder.

That's great man!
I think it'll look great too.
Looking forward to the finished product.

Yes, it was only the one picture. Would have appreciated another after paint.

LOL, so really they just have two photos from the production line, one with a sunroof and one without. Sorry for the huge photo.

Congrats!
Carrara White with full black and chalk is the original color of my Macan.

This is a great thread. I'm also strongly considering a Macan S or GTS coming out of a 2015 A8 - short wheelbase. My only hesitation is the size difference and whether it will be too small. Has anyone come to the Macan via large or midsize sedan or SUV? Was it a shock to downsize to the Macan?

You have a 911. If you don't get a shock when you switch between your A* and your 911, you won't get a shock moving to a Macan either.
I have a Chevy High Country and an Infinity Q80. Both big boats. I have them both for sale as I never use them. I much prefer a smaller, more visceral car.
Just go for it!

Spent pretty much all afternoon cleaning and giving her the first real detail job.

Pretty happy with it after she was all cleaned up for the first time.

Window trim and roof rails will be blacked out, also will change the rear badge from Chrome to Black.

After driving a GMC Yukon and Mercedes ML, I love the size of the smaller Macan, as it is so much more fun to drive compared to the bigger vehicles.

'24 Macan S - best car I've ever owned/leased. Drives like a Porsche sports sedan on heels, hauls more stuff than you would think, has been incredibly reliable, satisfies my Porsche craving (for now) and can carry my family without a problem, approachable price, incredible handling and steering feel, refreshingly old school analog. Porsche fan for life notwithstanding their out of control pricing on the 911.

We were forecast to receive 1-3" of snow Friday. Instead, we got 7. No problem for the Macan, although ground clearance is a bit of a concern when navigating over areas the snowplows have pushed snow to the edge of the road. I do wish remote start were available. It is something I have missed in hot and cold and seems crazy it's not available on this car. Also, no worries, I already got her cleaned up just in time to get her dirty again driving through the dirty snow melt today!
