Id argue the Macan is the most impressive and fun after the Dakar.

I just bought my wife a Macan! We both love it. It’s going to be great for family road trips and when taking the hounds along. I’ve had seven Landcruisers over the years (along with an Audi S6 avant- and an S4 sedan) and while they were all great, the Macan is definitely sporty and fun to drive for an SUV. Definitely complements the 911.

Having said that, I find myself standing in the garage and staring at it often. I think it's a very good looking SUV. It's also comfortable, sporty and practical year round. The only negative I've found so far is it does have a few more rattles and noises than the Acura RDX I traded in. That car was solid as a rock on the interior.

I also traded an RDX in for my Macan S, but my Macan was a new purchase. It's 2.5 years old now, and I don't really have any rattles (except for stuff I have in the door pockets). The RDX was indeed solidly built, but the Macan feels like it was milled out of a single piece of metal. Any place in particular that your hearing rattles? Could be easily fixed with some foam tape, if it's interior panels.

Mostly just minor rattles around the tops of the door panels and dash area. Some once in a while up top around the pano roof. It's weird, they're not consistent and definitely seem to be worse in the cold which I guess is to be expected. With it being a (low mile) CPO who knows what happened before I took ownership. I may be better off not knowing

@Roadie! congrats! Enjoy your newfound Swiss Army knife.
@TRINITONY Doooo eeeet!!!

@tygate @boyce89976 I live in a town full of terrible pot holes, speed bumps (I cross 7 every time I go out), and cobble stone.
It's surprising how few rattles it has given it's use.

Wilder, hope you enjoyed the Espresso pics I posted above #11.
Last time I post pics, took so long converting HEIC to JPG.

Thank you much Terry.
You have a great looking Macan.
I'd love to have an Espresso interior.

Cool discussion.
If I end up ordering one, I will be skipping the pano roof. I just don't use them, with the bonus of it never becoming a rattle-maker.

I think it is pretty cool that Porsche lets you order these without the pano roof. My GTS build with no pano started on 12/8.

We just picked one up this weekend for my wife. I bought a used Cayenne Turbo a few years ago, and despite the costly repairs on such a fancy car, it's the best all-around family hauler I've ever had. She had a Subaru Outback for utility and snow and a BRZ for fun, and the Macan replaced both. Porsche's witchcraft at making a small SUV handle like a sports car is pretty impressive. The only thing missing relative to more fun cars is the lack of a 6MT, but the DSG has excellent response.

I have a love/hate relationship with the pano roof.
On a good day it's fantastic.
Where I live, the sun is very intense so I have to keep the curtain closed, defeating the purpose.
But most of all, I don't like the idea of hauling what's likely 100+ lbs on the very top of what I consider a sporty car.

Love the color of your Macan. If I had to go back to just one car, I would be perfectly okay with the Macan. Swiss knife.
