the quick and easy way:

just select ALL ECUs in Piwis and de-select the ones which are definitely irrelevant (such as doors, DME, hatch, ..). Then you‘re sure you code them all together (process will be automated, sequentially ECU by ECU as you will see).

once selection has been done, select „Coding“ and scroll down to the Start/Stop option. It can be set to on, off, or Last Mode.

select Last Mode and press F12.

the option will be coded and the switch remembers its last setting. Done.

if you‘re uncertain which modules to code - just select all of them and de-select the DME (as DME does not get coded), then code them all.
just takes some seconds more because all ECUs will be read out, even though only 4 of them will be altered...

have fun!
Thanks. How about the performance gauge? Did you ever get then to work properly?

Any idea in the switch off speed for the parkassist/Surroundview? I changed it in park assist but still I can not manually switch it on above 10mph

I did not pay any attention to the performance gauge, it did not work properly anyway.

Parkassist/Surroundview - never looked into it as I did not have Surround View. I was more than happy to have retrofitted the backup cam properly

Is it possible to defeat the seat belt warning chime?

Yes, please scan through the Cayenne coding thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...ussion-53.html

It's buried somewhere in there.

Is it possible to code comfort entry into a 8 way seat with memory? Since the steering wheel is not powered it just looking for the seat to move back a few inches. Did not see this being referenced in the Cayenne thread. This is for a 2021 GTS

I believe you can do that from the instrument cluster under settings. it's been a while since I did it but I don't think I used the Launch

Option doesn't appear. Porsche's website and dealer wasn't clear that you need at minimum the 14 way seat package to get comfort entry.

Yep I have option Q2J, 14 way and then it is accessible. If it makes you feel better, I do have it programmed but find it retracts way to far back so when you're in again you need scoot forward to reach the pedal to turn the key. I think if they just moved the steering wheel way out of the way it would have made for a better deal.

Hey was wondering if I could ask a few questions about PDLS to PDLS+. I have piwis 3, and all the right hardware in the Macan, but can't seem to find where in the software to enable it. Thanks.

EDIT: sorry I replied to the wrong user

- lowered air suspension by 32mm
- retrofitted a heated steering wheel
- retrofitted a OEM backup camera (PDC was in car, but w/o cam)
- Upgrade from PDLS to PDLS+ (since front camera and lights are the same) just by coding
- Memo function for the Start/Stop function (set to „last mode“) - this was the most annoying „feature“ ..
- Option of 22“ wheels (in TPMS menu)
- Option to automatically fold in rearview mirrors when locking the car. Unfolds when starting the car.
- some additional menus in the dash cluster, e.g. Power / Torque
- eliminate seat belt warning (just for testing) in dash cluster

Hi, I had a few questions about doing the PDLS to PDLS+ upgrade. I have PIWIS 3, and the Macan has the right hardware (lights, camera). Am trying to navigate the software. If you can provide any input that would be appreciated.

You have to change option 8EF or 8JE into option 8G2 (high beam assistant) in 3 ECUs:

- Front Cam
- Front Light
- BCM Front

this gives you auto high beam.

change the fog lights to option 8GH, this enables intersection light.

thats it- all can be found under „coding“ for the respective ECU.

I don‘t know the UI of Piwis3, so I cannot comment on that part, but it should work similar to Piwis2.

Can any parameters be changed for the high beam assistant, such as the asinine 37 MPH lower limit?

Don't know if it's codable or not but it's a good idea in cold climates. The dual function reminds me of an ad I saw for a Rolls Royce where they advertised that due to a dual air conditioning and heating system, you could have air conditioning coming from the panel vents while having heat coming from the floor vents. Something to the effect that, "A British gentleman should always keep a cool head and warm feet."
