Yep quite a few of those "irritants", alas. Is the nomeclature similar to VCDS in terms of finding stuff? Be interested as well as no doubt many people if you locate the kill start/stop. Too convoluted with VCDS alas.
Got a buddy up in Morayfield, QLD btw. Muster was in Sydney environs.

Just got my unit today and spent part of it downloading all the files.
Filling in a floor in my house as well as having some issues with two of my dogs so don't know when I'll test it, but hope this weekend or early next week. Registration of the unit btw was no problem.

One dog unfortunately was stricken with IMPA (equivalent of rheumatoid arthritis in humans and it's destroyed her entire bone structure; but she's still with us and my little girl). Very rare and in a Siberian Sled dog, just beyond words. The other one has a urinary tract infection of some sort. As they say, a sled dog team is a furry contraption used to convert money into dog poop.
I'll keep you posted but so far and as Mr. Longneck said, no issues

You are right about the initial download, but that's obviously good news! I downloaded every brand of vehicle available as well as system updates.
I just plugged the charger in & initiated the download after confirming initial charge. You will be impressed for sure.
I only wish they had motorcycles as well as cars for software download, that would be bliss....

As an added precaution, I made sure the unit was fully charged as battery was very low which took several hours before initiating the downloads and left the unit connected to power the whole time. Instructions for registering were clear as I said and so far no issues but I haven't done anything with it yet given other priorities at home at the moment

2014-16 there is a way European and Australian tuners have been able to but nobody here in the USA has been able to. A company in Australia offered to flash my ecu if I sent it in but cant just be without a car for long so I figured if this software has this many options Im sure somewhere in there one could unlock the video in motion feature like they do

I don't think so as it's not software dependent.
Even in the Chinese HU and some Japanese VAR units it's actually a "hardware" trick to enable it, namely connect a ground wire IIRC.

looks like a new Launch user successfully killed start stop on the Cayenne thread.
Check the other thread......seems there are two coding changes needed.

The quote you refer to concerns Video in Motion not start/stop... you've got to pay attention in class ***** :-)
As to start/stop, I'll have a look. I was after this for a friend that has a 2018 Q7. From what I poked around it was too convoluted as it was not permanent and you would have to change 3 variables: HVAC, Voltage and the switch itself. But I'll have a look, thanx!
