Ladies & Gents,

If we can avoid commenting about competing exhaust brands, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My friend told me he takes it one day at a time

The title of the thread refers to unlocking the power potential of GT4s, not any specific brand (like, for example, 'Cargraphic headers - who's got 'em?'). I'm sorry if I broke a rule or caused offence but hope my confusion is understandable?

You're fine. No offense or harm done at all, whatsoever. The thread titles are confusing because that one was a Group Buy thread of Cargraphic and this one is about the mods that we sell for the GT4 but again, no offense taken. I was just trying to keep us on track, that's all. All good & thanks for following!

If you need warranty work you could remove your modifications before taking it in.
May take time or money to do that, and hopefully you have a second car, but certainly doable.

I did all my mods for the 997TT at the dealer and they put in writing that it wouldn't affect the warranty...but that was 10 years ago.

I'm not the least bit concerned about these kinds of mods affecting the car or warranty.

I see it as a bit of a dice roll. I just love the responsiveness of a well modified car...

Sorry John, after how long this thread has been going and the various topics of conversation, who started it has become out of site out of mind. I still owe you a drink at the Patron tent, take full advantage!

EVERYONE! Buy John Tecce's ridiculously awesome engine builds, you only live once and warranties are boring

i have two west coast Spyder owners that are running this config but they also are running the intake upgrade. The 4.0L X51 Boxster Spyder we did last summer that lives in LA also has this exhaust setup. I have the same exhaust config on my car and the consensus is that everyone likes this sound the best AND enjoys being able to quiet it down with the button. From inside the car the sound is unreal; from outside the car it's very loud and quite addicting. If you do the tune and the exhaust work you can get around 415 hp at the crank. To reach the 430 number you need the intake mods in the form of the plenum, throttle body and filters.

Thanks buddy! It's quite alright. Truth be told, the thread has gotten massive over the last 2 years and ridiculously long and makes it quite difficult for a newbie to pop in and see some feedback on mods or even know what's going on without having to read the novel that is the mod thread. It has turned into a long discussion. I am trying to get it back on track.

My Dealer did all my Mods. except the tune which is easy to do yourself. They have no issues with this. All he said is if I need any Warranty work done just remove the tune. But - for oil changes ect no need to remove the tune. Porsche does not scan the ECU for an oil change ect. He said Audi scans the ECU so need to be careful with Audi

Go with whatever John @ Bgb says to do. Except jumpingnoff the cliff. He knows cayman. Period. Oh and his customer service is first class. I email him on Sunday Am and I get a reply back in 1 hour and I knew he was at a race support. 👍
