Just tried mine in my garage and it is much tighter than that.
Your looks excessively sloppy.

Interestingly enough, my clutch pedal is messed up and like a soft sponge during pedal throw when cold.
Weird.

Some play, but not as much as yours it seems...

I never noticed it before but checked earlier today. It does the same as what both videos show above (I can’t tell if there’s a difference in the two videos). Never intruded during driving.

I am going to minimize this by installing the Numeric short shifter kit.

Picked up my GT4 yesterday after having the transmission replaced, and today just as I drove into the garage - coolant systems error on the dash. Looking under the back of the car I see the same reddish purplish coolant leaking from the left side of the engine

It smells like coolant too.

I rang the dealership and they told me the techs didn't touch the coolant system when they replaced the transmission.

Porsche Roadside are sending out a tech to look at it, but I figure it'll need a tow back to the dealership for them to look into what is wrong...

Frustrating, especially when my other car is off the road too...

Check the vacuum hoses to the exhaust valves. I had the same fault and was traced to braided hoses to valves. I didn't have any coolant leakage.

A coolant flush was part of my 3rd gear replacement, and an alignment.

This is the first time I have heard and thoght about that an alignment perhaps is needed after gearbox replacement. Is it really? Not shure if it was done on mine (they only used one day for the replacement)..

Another issue, which might not be connected, but after replacement (not directly after though, but not many miles), I had the coolant fluid error message. I think the exhaust valve is not functioning, have an appointment to fix it - eager to hear if it is a "normal" vacum valve fault, or something related to the replacement (not plugging in a valve or hose?)...

Just picked up mine today, regular trans recall and had them dump the brake fluid and put in SRF fluid for track days. Shifts just the same as before no complaints... See how it goes with some mileage.

Same here, I had them do brake fluid while it was up on the lift as well. Apparently the dealers need a special setup that Porsche sends them for the coolant flush when doing the tranny. Actually took them a few tries on mine to get it to burp right.

Just for mine back from the dealer today. Bill to Porsche was $18,000!! Bit also included an oil change and a track inspection. No alignment done but did have a coolant flush. Not sure if these guys know what they’re talking about but tech said no alignment necessary, as they don’t touch anything suspension related. Who knows... seems like it’s hit or miss. Car drives fine though. No abnormal play on the shifter that I can tell either.

Factory service manual states that any time the trapezoidal pan is removed that an alignment should be performed. I do not think the transmission can be replaced without removing the pan.
