Anyone know if the front LCA shims are the same as the rear? I know on the GT3/RS they are two different shapes.

I had my baseline alignment done today before the car's first track day at Road Atlanta this Friday. This is on totally stock hardware, stock ride height and with 3mm/1mm shims added today.

The shop mentioned that mine came in with the upper mounts all the way inward in the strut tower slots. Said it was the first time they have seen that. They also said my caster was equal left and right which was surprising because they'd had a number of PR cars come through with highly uneven caster.

This was all done with me in the car.

This was as much camber as they could get in the rear without the adjustable toe links. So they just evened it out.

I'm a 4-5 track day a year kinda guy, but I am getting proficient. So I doubt I needed to go all out with the extra adjustable pieces until I get a feel for it as-is.

I've got the car set up with soft front hard rear on the sways. I may adjust that to med rear before Friday as I sensed the rear being a hair loose on my off ramp circuit.

Curious what the guys who have been tracking theirs think about this current spec.

Not enough camber in the front. I had mine at -2° front and -1.5° rear and did 300 miles on track. Front wheels completely gone, will give it a try at 2.5°. I know that this is not the ultimate solution, but will hopefully help a bit....

That's what I was hoping to avoid by getting at least this baseline alignment. Looks like I will likely eat some front tire on Friday and then I'll need to immediately get the necessary parts to go more negative front and in turn rear to match.

You need more camber but on corner exit, if you feel the front wheels sliding, open up the wheel. I probably tell a new student this at least once per lap.

Looks like we're in the same boat and looking forward to running with you this weekend at Rd ATL too.

Here's my first alignment sheet, at 2044 miles, from the dealer. Told them to get set for track as much as possible, this is what I got. Wish it was more.

Bone stock.

Can't wait. Looking for that baseline and then move on up.

Is that the maximum camber your shop can get?? I thought you can do at least -2.0 front and -1.5 rear on stock LCAs? Maybe you need to lower the ride height a bit?

I am at 2.0° front and will go now to 2.5°. Rear 1.5° and very much maxed out (though this is still within OEM parameters), and know people who struggle to get to 1.5° rear, though dealer is working on a fix.

That been said, zero understeer. A little loose with the sways soft F / hard R. I may change to medium in the rear as it was a slight handful sometimes and I had 2 pretty harrowing saves.

Pressures were generally 33/35 hot. Saw 35/38 once and dialed down back to 33/35 hot.

Tires were 135-40F outside, 145-155F middle and inside most of the day. After my best (least traffic session) I was basically even temps across the tires. Wear just on/over the arrows. Never did the outside edge overheat.

PCCB rotor temps around 325-350F. Very impressive as my Fiesta sees over 700F at the rotor.

All this with ESC on, TC on until I get more experienced in this car.

Very nice driving out there! Here's a video from another driver I found of us. You come and go around 1:50... I pass him and try to keep up with you around 2:50. Glad to hear you were running 10/10th... as this was my first day in the GT4 and around 75% maybe.

On Saturday I pulled a low 1:41, bone stock on PSS with the PCA group.

That was a great weekend at the track! So many GT4s came out to run strong at Road Atlanta.

Got a 1:39 on day 3, all stock with roll bar and harness on PSS, but no PCCB like Accel Junky!
