Yes, that's it with no valves.
Here's the valved version;

If you want it without the branding plates send Rhonda an email, although the back fire dampers may not be possible, as they are positioned where the valves are.

Got it.. Valves makes sense with OE PSE.. No valves version it is.. Still loving your creation (DMS Race Exhaust). Makes my heart beat a lil faster every time when I drive spiritedly

Never measured it but I think mine is 2.5 and also the "not loud" version. But they all look the same.
Sound wise mine is quieter and smoother than PSE. Fine for racing but a tad boring perhaps if it was going to be just a fun weekend car. At least to what it could sound like.

There are the `Quieter' TÜV certified versions for EU sound regulations, and the `Sound' export versions for countries such as the US.
Cargraphic sells different versions as well.
At higher revs the DMS lightweight race is the brassiest, for lack of a better word, the PSE less so and the FVD just a hint.

I'm surprised at how quiet the FVD is from idle to 2K RPM compared to the PSE.
At 2.6K RPM there are seemingly high peaks, but with deep valleys between peaks, and the perceived result is similar to the PSE.
PSE (valves bypassed): 55F, 2.6K RPM loudness peak (124Hz -46.6dbFS, 188-195Hz -47.3dbFS, 253.1Hz -41.4dbFS)
FVD (no valves): 64F, 2.6K RPM loudness peak (7.8Hz -33.2dbFS, 44.5Hz -21.6dbFS, 117.8Hz -12.2dbFS, 130Hz -14.9dbFS, 166.7Hz -35.8dbFS, 191.1Hz -33.2dbFS)
Here’s in car audio with the iPhone 8 inbuilt microphones and windows closed, tunnel reflections at 1:41, 6:10, 8:17, 10:36.
Same circuit as PTP 0001, but with more traffic, can hear the Numeric shifter.

After I had the PPF applied I tried several Velcro options to secure the front plate, the plastic ones were too thick, settled on the traditional type.

d00d, what weight is your car down to now? I love weight loss plans. I got my Golf R down to under 3200 and w/ my 034 R420 Turbo kit it had about 360HP. Bummed the GT4 isn't closer to 3000 lbs. stock.
BTW, I have the same scales as you do and the displays are notoriously bad on them. They use elastomeric connectors for the LCD which are often flaky. You can try and take it apart and clean the contacts, but sometimes it simply gets worse.

I'm guessing it weighs just under 3,100 lbs at this point.
Will weigh it tomorrow when I graft the 42 Draft Designs tips onto the FVD.
Cancelled the Recaro order and reinstalled the passenger seat after realizing the stock look is more important to me than weight savings, may still do ceramic disks though.
The Golf R is a sweet car, a friend of mine is modding his.
Yeah, I tried to fix the contacts too, but ultimately had to send it back for replacement.

I remember you doing weight saving battery and all kinds of other stuff I’m just surprised that it’s not like a 3000 or below?
best regards

Here's the weight, but I have noticed a 23 lb difference depending on temperature, so the scale isn't that accurate.
GT4 (18 ways, iron disks, full gas tank, full washer tank);
Dundon headers
Radio delete
Earthx ETX1200 LiFePO4 battery
PPF
FVD exhaust
Clubsport intake
---
3115 lbs (weighed 20200822)

How have you found the Clubsport intake? Did you get a tune done? Snowy

It has noticeable gains starting around 4K RPM, although still not as good as the X51, I'll ask the person if I can share the comparison.
